Tricklestep sighs and pushes his nose into his former leader's fur and slumps to the warriors den, head, ears, and tail down.

Diamondkit looks up at her father "What happened? Is she sleeping?" she asked, not knowing what happened.

Puredust looks at her leader with sad eyes, then at Sagefur. He must be devastated... she thinks. She walks over "She was a great leader now, and will be a great one there..." she murmurs softly

Sagefur frowned and grabbed a big, sharp, rock. Tieing a vine to it, he put it on top of the High-Pile. He then pulled the vine and the sharp end landed on his head. Hoping to kill himself, he jammed his head into it and went limp. (he's not gonna die. fernstar put a blessing on him that no matter how hard he tries, he can't kill himself)

Tricklestep looked at her surprised, "But, Fernstar wanted you to...I couldn't..." he says sighing, hiding his exitement for being leeader

"Yeah right! She put this curse on me to keep me alive and away from her!" Sagefur whined.

"Yes you could, she made me deputy and now I'm leader. Fernstar doesn't get to decide whom I choose for my deputy," Hollytail pointed out.
