I lifted my muzzle to the sky, my black pelt shook carelessly as an annoying insect passed. I could sense my fathers presence, he must be close. He didn't speak to me much but i felt close to him, closer than maybe i felt to my mother. I knew i looked like my mother but i had my fathers size and loyalty, he had also given me the odd characteristics of my eyes, one blue, the other black, not just black though; pitch black. I stood up and smiled drearily, i loved winter and snow, i felt more at one with the coldness. I padded at a steady pace towards the smell of my father. I was growing quickly, but not an adult yet, i knew nothing of the power and responsibility but like any normal cub i longed to know how it felt. I was getting close, he was going fast but i easily caught up with him running at a tiring pace next to him, "Father? Where are you going?" I asked looking up at him.

Pandora wasn't completely down and she heard someone yell. She couldn't help herself when thrown into a mad giggling fit... some wolves considered her insane or a demon. Pandora was hard to understand and was usually avoided, but now she was the center of attention, but that wasn't why she "happy". She finally fell over, a fresh net was throw over her slightly twitching body. Even when she was no longer awake soft laughing noises could be heard. She was moved to a different lab still tangled in nets. This time she was chained and put in a leather muzzle.

Mila slowly approached a small clearing. In it were a few male humans, looking around s if they were checking for something. She lifted her nose in the air, trying to get a scent of them. What she smelled was not what she expected. The scents of different wolves filled her nose, along with the metallic smell of blood. She started running away, only to set her foot in the middle of one of the humans bear traps. She yelled in pain, collapsing as the metal touched her bone,

Eko opened his eyes groggily. He was burrowed deep in his den at the zoo. He had only left it to grab the food that was left for him, which he barely even ate. He was in a deep depression since his separation from Misaki. As he lay in his bed, the sound of excited barking and the yells of humans filled his ears. He had become accustomed to the sound of the humans, but these weren't the normal voices they used. After thinking for a moment, Eko stepped out of his cage into the bright snow to see what was going on.

Humans
A teenage human suffered as his dad and the other adult men sat around laughing. They were excited because of all the wolves they had captured, but this teen was not. Suddenly, the pitiful sound of a wolf in pain reached his ears. The adults stood up, laughing, for they couldn't wait to see what they captured. They began to trot towards the sound, their beer-bellies jigglin as they ran. But the teen reached the wolf first. She looked at him with so much pain and fear in her eyes that he couldn't help but feel deep sorrow. He watched in pain as his father put the she-wolf in a sack. They were obviously taking her to the zoo.
