Kinnard smiled."well that's easy." he smiled down at her. He stopped and stoo infront of her. "it's like, all your life youve been lost, and when she comes along ou find your way, like it's not gravity holding ou to the earth anymore, it's her. Shes the only thing that matters, you would do anything, be anything, say anything for her. She's the only thing that matters. It just makes sense when your with her. And when she's gone your just not a wolf anymore, just a hollow frame with nothin inside. You would die for her. And do anything for her." he said not taking his eyes from her for a second."you would keep and secret for her, take the blame for murder, or a crime just to keep her safe and happy." he finished. 'that's how I feel for you dusk. I would do anything I listed before just to keep you happy and safe.' he thought.

Flicker just sat in the shadows, feeling chilled to the bone. (I changed Lina's name to Pera again! This time it's permanent!) Pera's scent wreathed all around her, calming her, but even the mysterious she-wolf couldn't take this feeling away.
That stupid, annoying pebble-brain saved me from my best friend... Flicker narrowed her eyes, anger ripping white-hot through her.
She should know she can't beat me at any fight! I'm her leader now. Nafira's words are still law, and she almost broke them, if it hadn't been for her mate. Scowling, she lashed her tail.
I don't want
to understand what love is! I never want to have it, because it takes away what I do love the most... My sanity! If I ever had puppies, they wouldn't have a proper father. Flash should have puppies- he should have been the healer. I've got fire in my veins. He has a cool mind, playful, cheerful, daring, but willing to take the biggest risks to save the life of another. Looking down at her paws, she suddenly felt very tired. "Why do I have to be like this?" She whispered, scraping her paw over the dusty dirt beneath her paws. "Some type of monster, made to be the hero I will never be..." Flattening her ears back, she looked up at the sky. It was dotted with faint streams of mist, and stormclouds pouring onto the ground below. She was sheltered by a thick overhanging cluster of ferns. "Who
are you?" She wondered aloud, the sky reflecting in her blue eyes. "To choose such a hot-headed, stupid she-wolf?" Looking away, she saw the faint outline of Pera, and heard a small whisper in her ear.
"Just wait..."
Mali was shivering harder than she ever had before. "H-he jumped!" She wailed. "Rusty pushed me aside to save me from a tree that fell on him, and it rolled him over, too!" Almost screaming, the brown she-wolf burrowing into her mother's soft white fur. "Momma, why did it have to be them?" She asked. "Why did they have to die?"
