Hydra blinked at Mahn challengingly. "Why wouldn't I? I love her more than the world, and having puppies would be a miracle."

mahn smiled"good." he said. he heard his sisters howl and nodded to hydra to follow him. he stopped at the cliffs edge."listen to me hydra. my sister is on an island there is plent of preey there. so she probobly is tracking somethng. the island is kinda far. just jump into the water and swim straight. i supose she will be watching for you. but you mustnt tell anyone of this island. it is our paradice. only me allphia, lyn, havot, and edme know. well now you know. but jsut swim till you see it. youll be fine." he said and nodded encouregingly to the jump.

Esperance frowned, coming up behind Mahn. "You've been hiding this from me?" She asked quietly. "Mahn, really?" Her tone was agitated, as she flicked her tail grumpily. Hydra frowned.
"Okay? But I don't want to stay there long."

Esperance snorted. "Mahn, any pregnant she-wold who actually gave a crap about her puppies wouldn't swim in the ocean, especially when they're so rippy, black, and unwelcoming. You couldve simply told me... But I see you didn't think that far into it. Forgive my stingy attitude." Hydra looked at the dark waves, smashing into the cliff, and spraying him in the face harshly. The water was freezing with the fall weather. He shivered, but launched himself off the cliff. He was sure the waves weren't like this when Allphia had jumped- because they engulfed him completely, and tore at his fur, forcing him down. He kicked helplessly, but his leg was caught in something- when he looked down, he opened his mouth to let put a terrified scream, but all that came out where three large bubbles. Latched with deadly fang in his leg was a small shark, and it pulled him deeper into the torrent, shaking its head. He moaned and threw himself at it, not really thinking. It let him go and fled when he accidentally clawed at its left eye. He struggled to the surface and gasped for air, before another wave slammed him against the cliff. Everything went black.

When Hydra woke up, he was breathing heavily in someplace dark and damp. He blinked and struggled into a sitting position, when he heard a disapproving, motherly cluck of a tongue. He whirled around, and he blinked in surprise when he saw a large, shaggy white she-wolf with sapphire blue eyes. He sniffed and she walked over to him. "Its about time," She barked, and to his surprise, she lifted her paw and put cobwebs on his face. He blinked and gave her a wide-eyed, terrified look.
"How long have I been here?" He whispered, and his voice echoed off the damp wall.
"Hours. It is nighttime now- what where you thinking, throwing yourself into the ocean like that? Honestly, I've seen tons of you pack wolves just carelessly flinging yourselves into the water. Y'all get worked up over a stupid little island, and you think you can get through anything." She was pacing around the cave, picking up things too shadowed for him to make out what they were. She brought over some type of plump, juicy purple berry, and set it down in front of him. "Eat," She commanded, and he obeyed, trusting she wouldn't save him to kill him. When it hit his tongue, he closed his eyes contentedly, and he started to eat it whole-heartedly. She chuckled as she watched him. "You aren't too bad. I'm Sapphire, wolf of the hidden cave in the cliff. No wolf but myself can find my cave." Her tone was warm. Hydra blinked slowly at her.
"I'm Hydra, loyal wolf of Ocean Breeze, my pack." Sapphire tilted he head to the side.
"Oh? Are you alpha?" She asked.
"No, no that is Nafira... I was just goin to try to find mate-"
"Ah, island girl?" Sapphire said wisely. "She and the rest of your pack probably think you drowned, if she went back at all." This made Hydra's stomach drop and he felt sick.

Allphia had swam back. She Paced In a circle worriedly."oh mahn I never should have sent him to meet me!" she cried into espeances fur. Mahn was close by. He didn't like to leave her alone anymore. Allphia cried harder."we have to find him!" she said crying.

esperance shook her head. "Allphia, we can only hope he's alright. Don't be stupid- You're visibly pregnant with puppies. I won't let you kill yourself and your unborn puppies- hydra wouldn't want that either. Allphia, the waves are far too rough. No wolf is strong enough to swim." She reasoned with the she-wolf. "And if he never arrived on the island, he's not likely to ever turn up anywhere."

Hydra followed Sapphire as she walked to a stony ledge, with a space just wide enough for the large white body of hers to fit through. He winced and jumped back when he got a face full of salty, disgusting water. "Blech!" He yelled as it filled his motuh and he spit it out. He blinked and looked down as the water ran into a hole that went from wall to wall, although it was perfectly rectangular, so no water could ever pass it.
"Come," Saphhire said suddenly, and she padded into a side tunnel. he followed, awestruck and dizzy. he heard water trickling fastly, and they came up to a ditch, full of bright aqua blue water. "The water that falls into the hole gets purified down there and runs through here. It's fresh, and very tasty, without any salty taste." She bent her head and lapped at the beautiful, strangely blue water. Hydra did the same, and he almost couldn't stop drinking it, the taste was soi fulfilling.
"Mmm..." He murmured and Sapphire smiled.
"I live with this stuff every day. This place is stock-full of prey- it's all smart enough not to dump itself in the ocean. I get rats and mice- and, of course, the occasional fish." hydra blinked in wonder.
"this place is like paradise.." He murmured.
"Exactly. If the weather is any better in the morning, I might let you swim back to your pack, btu if you're going to blab the exsistance of my cave to the whole world, I won't let you go." She barked, her tone oddly firm. She gave him a piercing look.
"But, Sapphire, my mate-"
"You get, you keep, or you pay." She said. "I want no wolves just randomly turning up in my cave to get a taste of my food or water. you hear me? Not a word to anyone." Hydra hnodded slowly.
"Yes, of course..." He looked at his paws.

Dezzi blinked slowly. "I feel... weird." Finn walked in at that moment, and he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Dezzi's eyes.
"well, there's no doubt you feel weird... Dezzi, your eyes are no longer dark brown, but dark green. I don't know how this happened..." He hurried to the back of his den and pushed a turtle shell full of water towards her. She gasped as her reflection looked back at her, and sure enough, she had dark green eyes.
"How?!" She barked shrilly.
