Echo Yawed again and flocped over backwards onto her pback and lay there, eyes half close as she looked at the stars. She smiled before she stood up and walked closer to the water before she layed back down, curled up with her tail Over her Nose. She looked at Blaze. She gave a small smile.

Blaze returned the smile and sat down with his tail around his paws, tilting his head to the side. A slight yawn escaped his jaws, and they closed again with a quiet snap. It seemed like Echo was starting to make him feel sleepy.

Echo lifted her head and looked around. She stood and took to the air, but Only to land In a tree and lay down On the branch. She felt safer in trees, even more so if she was near water. And she could still keep an eye on Blaze to make sure none of the shadowthings attacked. She yawned and layed her head down on her paws and dosed off.

Moon glanced over at Stone and smiled. She guessed he truely didn't understand why the animals of the island look worried. She let out a small bit of laughter before replying to his question. "They all care about me and the pups. Without me, they would be fearing for their life every second of their lives. They're like my guardians when it's the other way around." She lifted her head only to put it back down again and to wince once more in the pain the pregnancy was giving her.

Stone nodded and looked at the animals. "What are you protecting them from?" He asked. The wolves in the pack only killed the animals for food. He wondered what other predators lark on this island.

Moon let out a light laugh and looked at him with bright eyes. "I know what you're thinking. Don't think in such a manor. I protect them from the wild cats of the forest and I heal them if they are injured. In return, some give their lives for us. It is nothing I seek, they do what they wish." She licked his cheek and laid her head down on his paws.

Stone nodded "Do you have an idea when the pups will come?" He asked her. He didn't know if he wanted them to come quickly so he wouldn't have to see her in pain anymore or for it to be longer. He hoped it would go alright. She seemed in a lot of pain and he didn't know if that was normal.

Moon let out a light laugh again and looked back up at him. "The pups will come when they think it's time. I can't control everything, you know." She nuzzled him and looked at the animals that soon started to disperseand go with their own kind.
