Parfait stretched. She stood up carfeully in fear of dislodging Cliff. Yawning, she made her way into the bright sunlight and had to blink several times before her eyes were adjusted to the light. She padded over to the woods and into the cooling shade. Stopping by a stream she lapped at the cool refreshing water that quenched her thirst.

Ralph yawned loudly and blinked. he closed his eyes again, savouring the feel of the sun on his pelt. His surroundings came back to him all in a rush. Jumping up he stood alertly for any danger. He managed to catch a glimpse of parfat's disaperaing tail and crept up behind her. When she reached the water's edge he used his paws and pushed her into the stream. He chuckled loudly and came face to face with an angry face. parfait growled amusingly and pulled him in the water with her.

Parfait growled humoursly and lunged at Ralph. her teeth grabbed Ralph's fur and she pulled him into the water. She laughed and splashed him with water, drenching him from head to paw. he laughed back and swan underneath, a dark shaddow moving silently.

Ralph grabbed her ankles and pulled. She was forced under water in a hysterical fit. Once she was under, ralph swam up to the surface in need of air and came up spluttering. He coughed untill he was drained of water and looked for Parafit. She was shaking hereslf dry on the bank next to the river so he swam up to her. "Come on, let's go find the alpha!" He barked at her kindly

We are going at such a slow pace and my limbs are gonna cry out in pain if we plod along any slower! Move it!" Smiling coyly back he answered "Why don't ya just go on ahead then?"

"'Cause i'm being sensible and i know that you are gonna run off if we let our eyes off you!" She yapped back, annoyed at his cheekiness.
