Redblaze stayed silent for a while. Now? ........She was still pretty young. But, she really did love him! Then she remembered how proud her mother was. If this wasn't right, she would've told her. Goldenheart had said nothing. She smiled and purred. "Yes." She whispered and nuzzled him.

"Thank you," he whispered. "I promise that this will work out."

Cherrystream went to a stream in the forest. There she cried.

Sagefoot nodded to his sister and Hawkstar, then ran to Cherrystream. He stood uncomfortably by the stream for a few moments, knowing she would notice him.

"Go away!" She hissed, she scrambled up a tree.

Featherwind walked to Rainfeather."I'm a warrior!"she exclaimed.

Sagefoot sighed. Cherrystream hated him. He might someday find another she-cat like her, but not as perfect. "Cherrystream? Can I talk to you? It isn't about my sister. or Hawkstar."

Redblaze smiled. "It will."

Cherrystream went higher up the tree. She didnt want to talk to ANYONE.

"I know!" he exclaimed.

Hawkstar nodded to his mate. "So, kinda random, and I don't really want to freak you out, but how would you feel about kits?"

Sagefoot stared after her, his eyes clouding with despair. He squeezed them shut and padded back to camp.
