Dapplekit padded around camp, bored. She looked up as she heard her father enter camp, and bounded over. "Do you think I can be an apprentice yet?" She asked.

Bearkiller licked Dapplekit's forehead. "Soon enough," He replied. "I know that you should have been made an apprentice long ago, but we shouldn't patronize Yewstar. We should be thankful enough that he let us into his Clan after we left ShadowClan."

Darkflame looked over at Dapplekit and Bearkiller. He grinned; it looked like they were walking on the sky, as he was upside down.
