Dawnfire didnt look at Stormtalon, nor her kit. She looked over to Petalfall. "Please.."

Petalfall turned her head away. She closed her eyes, though she couldn't see dawnfire anyway. "We all used to be friends. So innocent. Where'd that go, Dawnfire? Where did that innocence and kindness in our hearts dissapear to?" she said shakily.

Dawnfire suddenly realised she was blind. How had she missed that? How could she have not been there for her? Guilt tore at her heart. "Petalfall.. It isn't my fault.. All i ask for is your help.. You have to understand that Lemurclaw killed my kit. He will kill you all. I dont want that to happen. Do you trust your brother?"

"I can't say I do... all the way. He tried to kill me, my mate, my mate's father." Petalfall explained, hanging her head. She wanted to help her friend, but to do so, she would have to defy the trust she gave to her other friends. Confusion ripped at her mind and heart.

"Petalfall.. im sorry i lost your trust. Im sorry i wasent there for you. Im sorry i wasent there to be by your side. To be your friend." She said, tears rimming her eyes. She didnt want her friend dead. She didnt want her clan to be over-run by the monster. "But you have to trust me. I know Stormtalon's your mate, but you have to help chase him out. Or you will be killed as well as Stormtalon. What would Foxfang do?"

Petalfall's dull eyes shimmered. She padded into the den and let her head limpy hang low to the ground. "Stormtalon, we have to get out of here." She sighed, scuffling her paws along the ground. "The Clan will kill us if we don't get moving."

"And go with her?" Stormtalon snorted. "No way. I can't just abandon my father." He said, standing guard beside his dad.

Dawnfire stood behind Petalfall. She didnt speak, she didnt want to be tackled again, or hurt. Her wounds stopped bleading, but were still open and bloodied.

Nodding and gulping, Petalfall knew she stood defenseless. She stepped outside and closed her eyes, tilted her head down. "I can't fight with him. But... I want to help... and..." She clutched her head with her paws, "I can't do this. It's so confusing," She growled.

Stormtalon sighed and hissed. He would never go with Dawnfire, or trust her. He knew his father wouldn't kill his own family. And Dawnfire kept calling him a monster. How could he ever travel with her? "What would Foxfang do?" He mumbled mockingly to himself. Of course, she would bring him into it. The one tom Stormtalon hated. He had loved Petalfall and Stormtalon hated it.
