Moon slows her pace and starts to pant a bit before being able to speak. It was hard on her to gallop or do almost anything but walk since she was so far along. "My Lady, what is wrong?" She asked still trying to catch her breath.

"Race horses."

Moon slowly regained her breath and stared at Athena in sheer confusion. "What do you mean, Ms. Athena?" She was confused to her core.

"Before yall came here..there was a group of race horses that was shipwrecked.." looks away, her eyes were getting watery

[Moon - Furry Luva]

Moon walked over to her and touched her muzzle to Athena's shoulder. "Tell me what's bothering you so much. What about these racehorses? They don't seem all that special to me." She hoped that what she was saying wasn't anything bad that would make her lead mare hate her for life.

"I really liked one of them. He was really cute and he was really nice to me. But the other horses weren't nice to me. They were spoiled, stuck up, and mean. They wanted their owners to come find them, but I never saw no ship ever coming here. They hated being wild,and they really loved humans. One night, I was accidentally eves dropping on them, The stallion I liked, He hated me. He told his friends he wanted to get off the island immediately. I cryed myself to sleep that night. And the next day, the horses went missing."

Moon stared at Athena in horror. She had no idea what the lead was even saying. "What do you mean they went missing?! And no race horse is ever going to be right for you. You're better than those who dislike being wild and free. But what you say about them goining missing, I don't get it what so ever. What could take an entire herd of horses off the island without the wild horses like us?" She wanted the answers but she didn't know if Athena would be able to provide her with them.

Ruffian snorted, What a crybaby. She continued to graze.. Why did mares freak out about everything? Oh well.. She didn't even want to be here. She was used to humans.. most Wild Horses were just like Moon anyways. The only reason she was nasty was because when somebody annoyed her, she got rude. And something about Moon annoyed her. Deeply.

"They used to hang out at a pond alot. Justin went to their little hideout to see if they were there, but they weren't. He saw a few drops of blood on the ground, and he tried to follow their hoof-prints, but they stopped in the forest. If they swam in the ocean, we would of see their carcasses on the shore. I looked every where, but nothing. I almost gave up, until Justin saw some paw-prints leading to a cave. We fallowed the paw-prints, and when I went into the cave, I smelled something that was dead. lowers her head

Moon looked at Athena with a stern gaze. She stomped her hoof on the ground. "I am sorry to say this, Athena, but Please, stop dwelling on the past. I was always told to leave the past in the past, and never look back. Just to keep going and live for those who I have in my present and future. You are one of those, the other is Jupiter. I love you both and would die for you both. That is something no race horse could ever know or do. I don't care if you hate me now, I just care that you listen to what I have just said. To me, you are a sister I never had, and Jupiter is my husband. I know you're thinking of taking your own life or wanting too, but I don't want you to. I want you to be in my foal's life. Be his or her aunt. Teach him/her to be strong and to never give up on what they believe in. Even if I am not here to help." She looked at Athena and then lowered her head shamefully from acting so rudely to the higher mare.
