Gracie sleeps like a rock, so when Shady picked her up and slung her over his back, she stayed asleep. He ran about three miles before he set her down.

Shady turned sharply," Hush now. We dont want the big bad alpha after us, do we?"

Esau followed a rabbit trail happily, until his nose found something else. Somebody had been through this path, and reeked of evil. He bound upriver, following the scent

"Shady....Please let me go." Gracie begged.

"No thanks." Shady tightened his grip o her leg. Gracie yelped.

He kept running, detirmined as the smell got stronger. He started to hear more yelps and barks as he neared. Esau stopped to a halt and saw in front of him the other two wolves.

Shady took no notice of the new wolf," There there. The pain isnt that bad."
Gracie held still, not wanting to hurt herself more.

Thistle wanted someone to play with. Her legs were cramping and she wasn't tired. She looked around, but didn't see any other pups than Delilah and her brother, Thorn.
