Sandpath raced after Tangletail until they came to a little log covered in moss, then Tangletail ducked underneath it, Sandpath did the same and whispered, "Where are you taking me?"

Tangletail saw Yewstar was not in his den, so she whispered back, "I'm going to let you stay the night here, but you must stay in the tree in the morning!"

"Okay Tangletail" Sandpath recognized this place as a Clan, she studied these places when she got bored.

Tangletail gabbed an unused nest out of the Warriors den and placed it in her tree, "This is where you're going to sleep Sandpath."

"Okay Tangletail, who's the little one in your nest?"

"That's Thornkit, he wanted to sleep in the tree tonight, so I let him. Here, come up here and let's go to sleep." Tangeltail licked Sandpath's head when she got back up into the tree and went to sleep.

Sandpath nestled into her nest and fell asleep.

*Ashpaw woke up in Careth's clearing and stretched before running back to camp*

hareflight stretched and yawned she nosed oakwisker awake and padded outside

*Ashpaw saw the strange cat in the tree with Tangletail and stared confused, she hoped for once that Yewstar would let her join the clan*

*Ashpaw went to the nursery to see the kits before going back to Careth's clearing, it was the only place she felt happy now*
