Tangletail nudged Softpaw with her paw, "Softpaw... Oh well, I'll let her sleep. I wonder if Yewstar and Daggerclaw still want me to go hunting with them." Tangletail got up and padded over to Yewstar's den, "Yewstar...?"

Yewstar padded out of his den. He sniffed the air, and hissed under his breath. "A cat was here, not in our clan." he said. "Darkpaw, come with me. We are going to chase the intruder out." Yewstar said and raced out of camp, following the strange kittypet's scent trail.

Tangletail also smelled it earlier, but she knew who it was, "Yewstar! I know who it is!"

Darkpaw rolled his eyes at Tangletail's attempts to wake his sister and followed Yewstar. He was nervous; he hadn't yet spoken to the clan leader.
