Skylar continued to search for Triton. "Triton?!" she shouted, Ranger obediently trotting beneath her.

Triton thought he heard his name, but kept going, he couldn't stop, not until he found John. He spurred Atlanta again. "Hurry!" He said, urgung her forward.

Atlanta collapsed from exhaustion, almost dead. She breathed in then out, then in again. Finally, she took her last breath.

John looked up, "Triton!" he called out weakly. His hair was red because of the blood and he couldn't move.

Triton shed a single tear for Atlanta, then ran to save John. When he came up over a hill, he finally saw him. He ran and ran as fast as he could. Then, he landed right next to John. "Are you okay?" HE asked.

John closed his eyes, "I think it cracked my head, it hurts...." he moaned.

"Try to sit up. You have to keep your head above your heart. And, unless Skylar finds us we have to walk back home. Atlanta just die," He said firmly. Triton shook his head and brethed out slowly.

John looked at him and tried to sit up, he heard a crack and yelled in pain. His ribs were either cracked or broken, "Help stand me up."

Triton leaned over and boosted John up. He held him for a second.

John looked at him, "I'm sorry about Atlanta, she was a good horse...."

"A very good one. And now I have to replace her somehow," He sighed. Trtion frowned.
