Jackal flattened her ears fearfully, "Please don't hurt me...." she whimpered and flattened herself to the ground in submission.

Rosa pads around, getting a feel for her longer legs and deeper strides, she liked her new teen look too and was happy Avalanche let her go hunting today without him hovering over her like a vaulture. She slowed down as she entered the hunting grounds and sunk low to the ground as she stalked a gazzel.
Avalanche laid down by the water hole, he was worried for Rosa but promised to not interfere with her hunts anymore.

rasha laughed "no, i wont hurt you! im done with you... for now." he said in a sorta friendly tone

Jackal slowly sat up, he only needed her during mating season, she figured. Her ears stayed flattened, after he had mated her...she felt weird around him.

rasha sighed "why are you here?"

Jackal looked at him, "I was looking for Rose..."

(Lions mate 20 to 40 times per season or something like that, I remember reading that somewhere....that would really suck in my opinion.)

Rose watched her daughter leave then turned her head toward where her son had gone. She couldn't figure out what was taking him so long, so she headed off to find him.
