Moonstar sat up,"Yes?" he asked and sliped out of his den onto the middle rock that sat in the middle of the stream infront of his den.

" why doesnt your nephew work" she asked

Moonstar's gaze stayed even as he got up and walkd over to the young she-cat,"I know he seems a burden right now but I don't want him to get weaker. He really is a hard worker when he is at the top of his strength. Just give him time to rest. I am only giving him half a moon to do so. He will be working with the clan as soon as he is bakc to full health." he finished and swiped his tail over her shoulder.

" ok but iam not hunting for him just my clanmates." she walked out

Moonstar nodded,"that is understandable." he said with a sigh. The black cat walked back into camp and up to Moonstar then slid past him,"Nightshade." he groweld. The young cat turned. Moonstar looked carfuly at him then growled,"Come with me. and turned and lead him into the woods.

owlstep went to find slientstep to talk to.

lilystone was mashing up herbs for a mix.

Moonstar lead Nightshade to a hidded spot and brought him up to a space in a old oak. He turned and sat,"We both know why we are here." he said matter of factly. Nightshade turned his head,"Yeah. I know. Its about my "Chosen path" right?" he asked and glanced at his uncle. Moonstar nodded,"Yes, that is exactly what it is about." he said then huffed a sighed,"I know you arn't following your father's choise of work. But I have been wondering if you are even going to stay in my clan." he meow. Nightshade's deminor changed,"You know who I've become. Stop playing games Moonstar. You know who I really am." he chuckled darkly. His blue eyes flashed and a dark amused smile crossed his face. Moonstar growled,"Stand down Nightshade! You are in no place to-" Nightshade cut him off,"To what!? Kill you right now Like my father should have done before you even became leader!? You're right! I'm not! But once some of these "loyal" cats of yours find out they will turn you out and rank your hide quicker then I ever could alone!" he yowled. Moonstar's pulis turned to slits and a yowl rose in his throat,"Nightshade! The only reason I brought you into my clan was because of your mother's condition! I can get rid of you VERY quickly!" he hisssed and cuffed him hard on the face. Nightshade hissed then backed up and climbed down the tree. Moonstar licked down his coat and clamed himself then walked back to the clan.

Silentstep sat watching the sky. She wondered if inviting Nightshade into the clan was a good idea.

Moonstar walked back into camp but his nephew was nowhere to be seen. Moonstar calmly padded over to his den and layed ontop of it. He sighed heavily and layed his head on his paws.

Nightshade sat in the woods, Spitting and cursing his uncle,"I could tell the clan! I could tell them everything and-""Tell us what?" a voice sounded from behind him. He spun around,"Mallowheart!" he gasped. Mallowheart smiled kindly,"What's wrong?" she asked and sat beside him. Nightshade sat down,"Nothing...just life." he sighed and layed down. Mallowheart licked his cheek,"I know what you mean....try causeing a clan battle." she huffed and layed down too." Nightshadde looked at her,"You did what!?" he gasped. Mallowheart laughed,"I'm from a rival clan. I left because I didn't fit in so now the other clan hates me and my clan now." she sighed. He looked at her carfuly,"Quiet the reble arn't we?" he chuckled. Mallowheart nodded,"Quiet." she hissed then closed her mouth.
