Four Simple Rules

Rank Descriptions
First off, I just want to say some things. All wolves contribute to the pack in some way; no wolf is better than another by rank. All wolves begin as Subordinates and work they're way up. Usually there are Omegas(clumsy, scrawny wolves), but I don't want that type of thing going on in my pack. Also, all wolves can mate, fall in love, have pups. Thanks if you took the time to read this. Continue on 
Alphas~
Alphas are the dominant pair. They lead the pack. Skillful, and fair. They have to be strong, and, well, as said before, fair. They need respect. They can ban and accept wolves. They usually coordinate/lead fights and hunts. They can be challenged by other wolves, and will/can fight over this rank.
Betas~
Often, betas are almost like the alphas, but with a lot less power than the alphas. They are responsible and, in a way, a 'Co-Alpha.' They can accept wolves, but most ask an alpha before banning a wolf. They also help out on everything else, hunting, fighting, etc. They will take charge when the alpha is gone/dead.
Deltas~
They are usually, kind of like, assistants. They answer questions, and can tell wolves what to do. They direct wolves who want to join to the alphas/betas. They cannot ban wolves. They, simply, enforce the pack rules. They tell the alphas/betas if they need to hunt soon or need to prepare for a battle.
Subordinates~
These are the 'commoners.' They obey the alphas/betas/deltas. They are hunters, fighter, healers. Some are all around skilled, others specialize in certain things. Simple.
Shamans~
Shamans are wise wolves. Usually older than 3 or 4 years, they are sages. They, it may seem, can sometimes see into the future. They a smart, and often stay back on hunts and fights with pups, almost as what is called, a "pupsitter." They also can help heal wolves. So shamans are "sages, pupsitters, and healers" all kind of wrapped into one. Also, usually, they are to busy to mate, but they can if they want.

Territory:
Mainly, its barren and cold. There is a small river which often freezes on the top at winter. Wolves die, falling through the ice. There are a few ponds and one small lake. The forests are small and thin, trees a skimpy.
