Nightwhisker padded quickly through the forest as he checked the clan's borders. He couldn't find anything out of the ordinary so he looked for something to hunt. He found a squirrel enjoying an acorn and swiftly got ready to spring. He moved fast and killed the squirrel in one blow. He hid his catch and continued to hunt.

"Guess what i'm doing" Eaglepaw asked his sister as he crouched down as if he was about to catch a mouse. "Why are you quizzing me? That's what the older cats are supposed to do. You know, actual warriors. Honestly, you need to find someone else to bother" His sister said, watching from where she lay out the front of the apprentice's den. Her brother shook his head annoyed. "The answer was I was about to spring a mouse. You won't make a good warrior if you don't know these! Anyway I like showing off to you how smart I am" He paced back and forth flicking his tail. "I know this one. You're frustrated. Am I right?" Heatherpaw asked lazily. Her brother didn't reply but sprung onto his sister. She rolled to the side and watched as her brother tumbled into the den. She laughed. "What's that one oh wise brother" She called. Eaglepaw walked out shaking moss from his pelt. "Not.Funny.Heatherpaw" He said in a flat tone. His sister, who was still laughing, smirked. "Nah, it was hilarious. Do that again!" She said through the fits of laughter. "Okay I should stop now because my stomach hurts" She took some deep breaths, glanced at her brother and shook her head. "Who am I kidding?" She burst out laughing again.

Petalsong sat out the front of the warrior's den enjoying the sunlight. She gave her pelt a couple of quick licks but gave up and shook it out. "Ahhh" She sighed. She noticed Stormstar and flicked her tail in greeting.

Swiftpelt padded out of the warriors den, her eyes green eyes sparkling in the light. She glanced up at the sky and almost ran into Petalsong. She turned and caught herself. "Hi, Petalsong," she said, sitting down out side and looking out at the camp. She glanced back up at the sky and saw the clear blue sky with only a few wisps of cloud floating above the forest.
