Jax sat down. "So what do we do?"

[ferssier ;]

Sapphire shook her head sadly. "I don't know."

[saorsa-]

"We can't go on like this forever," he said with a sigh.

[ferssier ;]

"I know." Sapphire sighed, staring at her paws.

[saorsa-]

Jax sighed. She obviously didn't have a certain answer for him. He stood and turned, about to head back to Cole.

[ferssier ;]

Sapphire watched him return to Cole. It was much too late for her. She ran out into the snow. She couldn't believe herself. Why had she just fled? That wouldn't help anything. What does it matter anyway? He loves her. She thought to herself. She remembered waiting for him when she couldn't walk, and hoping he would return, and almost freezing again to go out and find him. She knew Cole probably would've done the same. She sighed as a tear fell. She just wasn't right for him. She looked back and then thought, But he loves me too. Thoughts rushed through her head. What was she to do? Before she could think it through she was running back to the shelter. I can't give up yet.

Jax began to slowly walk back to Cole who was much deeper in the cave.

Sapphire bolted into the shelter and tumbled headfirst onto her back, yelping and getting up again, still running, then accidentally tumbled into Jax and fell onto her side. She yelped again, but hopped to her feet quickly.

Jax tiredly pulled himself to his feet and began to walk again.

"Jax, stop." Sapphire said, unsure. She wasn't sure how he would react to being ordered around. She paused and looked at the back of his head. "I.. I'm not going to give up that easily." You're alpha, Sapphire. You have to stand up for what you believe, and you have to be courageous. You can't be afraid of someone hurting your feelings. You have to be brave, and accept the truth. She tried to reassure herself. She let out a shaky breath.
