Jax flicked his ears at Sapphire. He nodded slowly. "Don't get upset Sapphire." He murmured gently.

Sapphire sighed and lowered her head, backing away. She had probably just made the situation worse.
"I..I'm sorry." She whispered in a sad voice. She backed out of the cave and headed to her own den. You tried. She thought, though it didn't help much.

Josh heard Sapphire leave,so he woke up and followed her.When she went into her den,he stopped right outside the opening."Hey.Are you OK?"he asked softly.

"N-No..." She stuttered, hiding in the back of her den. She wouldn't tell him she was crying though. She just sat there and didn't make any move to leave or let him come inside.

Josh sighed and said,"Can I come in?It's pretty cold out here,you know."

She just sat there, wondering if he would leave or come in.

Josh walked in and sat next to her,not seeing her tears.

Sapphire stared at her paws, her eyes were closed now, but tears still ran down her fur. She looked out the window so Josh wouldn't see.

Josh could tell she was very sad,so he started licking her comfortingly.

Sapphire looked at Josh and sighed, putting her head in his fur. She sighed again and closed her eyes.
