She sighed "Fine..." She stomped out of the main entrance, only stopping to breath in the thick air. She could smeel a faint scent of rabbit. Though it was fresh. She ran off without her mentor. She tumbled into a bush and started hissing. Secionds later a cat rushed off. She saw a kit covering in claw marks and blood. "SHADEFUR!" She screamed "HELP!!!"

Shadefur rushed after her apprentice seeing the cat run off she chased it. She gave it a large wound on the side when she had pinned it down and ran back to her apprentice jumping over her and the kit. She gasped and said "We have to take the kit back to camp, QUICK" She mewed and picked up the kitten She crawled out of the bush and padded towards camp.

"Just wait" Shadefur hissed through the scruff of the kit. she held its scruff securly but gently. She looked up at the sky and padded into camp going through the thorn tunnel keping the kit away from the sides. She placed it in the middle of the camp and sniffed the kit for any clan scent
