He aplied preasure to the spring just before the van stopped and unlocked it. He shot out the cage as the van stopped "Ug!" He thudded against the side of the van

Hawaii sighed as the van pulled into the parking lot of the previous pound they had been to. Welcome back the building seemed to say.

He jumped up, then started to work on Hawaii's lock

"Dad, I can escape the pound. I've done it before." Hawaii groaned. "Save yourself, not me. I hate it when people make a fuss about me... I'll meet back up with you at the kennel... go." She said, turning away from her father. She didn't want him to leave but she needed him to be safe first.

He didn't want to leave her, but could scence she need time to herself "I'll meet you back by the dumpster where I left the pizza" He said, then jumped out of the van as he unlatched the truck. He glanced back, then ran off

"Okay." Hawaii breathed, nodding her head. She sighed when the man came and put her in the back room. She would just stay at the pound until someone adopted her and then she would escape. Easy.
