bolo ;;

    He raised his snout into the air, and sniffed; yes, there it was indeed. The strong smell of wolves.

    A pack, most likely.

    Bolo peered around the tree he was hiding, scanning his surroundings warily. When he was sure that no one was around, he scampered through the grass, low and quickly, before hiding behind the next tree. His heart thumping hard in his chest, again he peered out behind the tree for a few minutes before scampering over to the next. Truth be told, if anyone would have been in the area it would have been a silly sight. He was definitely the only one in that space, and he looked more like a failing stealth warrior than a wolf successfully stalking prey. But the others wouldn't understand. Bolo knew that if Tak found him and knew he was out to join a pack, he'd go ballistic --

    "Oooh, butterfly!" The sight of a pretty winged insect instantly broke Bolo's concentration. The wolf-dog immediately went after the creature, hopping and prancing after it, looking for all the world like some huge puppy. He batted at it this way and that, his tongue hanging from his open mouth, teasing the butterfly enough to tease it, but taking care not to kill it. He followed it all the way through the rest of the forest area, until he (didn't realize he had) crossed the borders into the pack of Blessed Royalty.

. . : : K a t e r i : : O m e g a : : B l u e M o o n : : . .

Silence. It surrounded her, threatening to consume. The dusy white fae stood near the edge of Blue Moon Pack's territory, her eyes closed, as she felt the wind buffet her fur. Oh, it had been silent for so long. Her brother had been at her side, but he had died of a sickness moons ago. Now, all she had left were the clouds in the sky, and the trees at her side. She swished her tail across the leaf-strewn ground, and re-opened her light gray eyes, to see a dragonfly land on a stem before her face. She adored dragonflies, always had, so she walked up to sniff it. Then bug clampered onto her nose, then up to her forehead, and she smiled - the fae actually smiled - shaking it off.

The pack was empty. Lost, undiscovered by none but her. She did get lonesome at times, yes, but not enough to go out looking for other wolves. She needed an alpha, Kateri knew that, but, as the Omega Wolf, she had no right to go and search for one. So, day after day, she returned to her den, alone in the clearing where the wolves' made their home. Kateri pulled herself from her thoughts again, glancing at the landscape beofre her. She had thought about heading off to find another pack a few times, but had always decided against it. They would probably kill her, or send her home - which, at this point, she didn't know which was worse.

There was scuffling in the leaves behind her, and she turned quickly, to see that it was only a mouse, shifting through a few fallen leaves. She laughed softly at her own ignorance, and paranoia. There was no one around for miles - well, not on their territory. Kateri turned back to the border that lay at her paws. There were wolves over there. She sighed, knowing they wouldn't want a useless Omega to join them, and turned away, the breeze blowing her long white fur out behind her.

fjord;;

Fjord stepped out of her den, stretching out her front legs, then the opposite set. Stepping out into the scattered sunlight, she shook out her pelt, ridding it of any dust or grit that she had picked up while sleeping the night before. She stared out at the camp, haunted by silence, and lowered her head, trotting out of the clearing. As she ran, she stretched her shoulders, pushing the two bones together, then relieved her ears of their stress by flicking them forward and backward and repeating the process a few more times. Her light blue eyes scanning the forest, the female dropped into a low crouch as she heard a rustling sound a few feet away in the waxy brush. Her eyes, unadjusted to the lighting, flicked back and forth, unsure of if it would be wiser to run or stay put. Eventually, when no other racket continued, she straightened herself out and continued forging through the brush.

Her pack was lonely and quite the boring type, making her ever-wary of what the easily angered wolves would say to her if she made even the slightest false move. Fjord often wondered why she was even born into Cursed Blood. They were cruel and their territory was dark, the only light coming from high past the sky-kissing pines. At the thought, she raised her head, staring up at the small glimpses of blue and scenting the air. No predators or prey were lurking anywhere near, though she did catch on to the sounds and smells of a few wolves. They sent a longing through her; she wanted to leave her pack desperately. But somehow, she got the sense that she wouldn't be welcome anywhere else. Fjord decided to follow the scent of whoever she picked up on anyway, for she had nothing better to do and it was about time for an adventure, about time for a break from her pack's redundant habits.

Jeraud's long snout rose, his eyes following Fjord as she stepped out of her den into what was only a few scattered beams of sunlight which had managed to infiltrate the forest. He watched her quietly,as she darted out of camp, she hadn't so much as given him a glimpse... That was if she had seen him at all. He picked himself up from off of the ground infront of the den, the sight of the Omega had sent a wave of realization throught his brain. If he couldn't shake off this awful grievance he would end up like that. Lowest in the pecking order.

Determined not to meet such a fate he padded idly into the brush, unsure of where his paws were subconsciously leading him. No matter how he tried to breath in the familiar strong acidic smell of pine, to get lost in the accustumed darkness beneath the towering temperate rainforest that blocked all light above, he could not. It was a pointless mission, for every needle, every pine cone, every shattered ray of light beneath the forests canopy could not detour his mind from the heavy weight that grasped his heart. What is done, can not be undone...

His eyes caught sight of a pelt too late for him to turn in the other direction. He had followed the Omega, not for any purpose, but perhaps that was simply where his feet had lead him. To his fate, his destiny, he might as well clean out his den now... He raised his head, waiting for her to address him, hoping she still carried to respect for him. Of course she did, he told himself. After all, the only one other than him who was aware of his terrible secret was his brother, Jalgon. It wouldn't be too long now though, they'd see him once he got into a battle, see his reluctance to fight, his lack of eye contact, the clenching of his jaws as he choked.

[Sounds like "FINDABEAR" to me.]

fjord;;

Fjord glanced up, her head tossing backwards when she saw the slightest flash of something behind her. She wasn't entirely sure if she had simply been tricking herself, so she trotted on, wary, her ears flicking back and forth frequently to try to pick up a sound or two on her sensitive radar. Only the quiet brushes against the ground of her paw pads, or those, she suspected, of an animal, could be heard. When she reached the border of her territory, she laid down, curling up her skinny frame. She rested her head on her paws and closed her eyes, then stretched out when she sensed no changes in the environment. She was just about to fall asleep when she heard the snap of a twig. Fjord leaped up, looking before her for a moment, then turning in a slow circle, seeing who could have possibly gone after her.

The female's eyes landed on a wolf from her own pack. She shuddered slightly, not liking the feeling of unknown eyes on her, but didn't dare to speak. After all, speak when spoken to, right? Fjord dipped her head politely to Jeraud. She nearly greeted him verbally, but remembered her rank and who she was - in her rebellious thoughts for a new pack, she'd nearly forgotten she was omega and she most likely wouldn't be moved from the position. She would live her life out as the omega, the one who ate last, simply the lowest ranking individual there could possibly be. She didn't even have a group of wolves like her. She was alone and lonely. Her light pale periwinkle eyes flicking up to meet the male's eyes, she waited for him to speak.

Jeraud froze momentarily as his presence was sensed by the she-wolf. He stood silently gazing back at her, until her eyes met his. Brave,... he thought. Generally an Omega would avoid all possible eyes contact dismissively. If she had met his brother Jalgon's eyes he would have certainly set her right, but he wasn't his brother.

He realized as the seconds past that she was waiting for him to speak. Jeraud was at a loss for words, would he have to dignify and explain himself to an Omega? Of course not... but the fact that he stumbled, that he questioned it. He was falling apart at the seams, could she see that? "Uh...Speak Fjord" he stuttered, finding the full power of his voice. It was a strong soothing tone, never threatening like that of Jalgon's or his fellow pack members, but with flowing with overwhelming confidence.

(Gah, sorry I wasn't on last night. Findabhair is accepted.)

Kali:

"Uh... Sure," Kali commented while standing up again and wagging her tail slightly for some reason. "So, what do you think about Blessed Royalty moving in with the pack?" She wasn't a big fan of them. Actually, she was scared of them. Who knows what they would do if they found out she was involved with them? She hated to think that they might hurt her for that reason...

(x-x Gah, writer's block.)

Shrugging Savon sat down, getting himself into a more comfortable position. "Honestly....I don't really care for the other packs, besides they're way to hard to deal with. The more wolves around the more chaotic is how i see it" He tried to pick his words carefully but they usually came out wrong or not as he had intended. Although he did speak the truth it usually wasn't what someone wanted to hear. "I mean i'm not the most social type so why make yourself feel more awkward by just inviting them in?" It was strange, how the fea was able to get him to just openly talk, even if he wasn't smiling. Inside he felt something telling him to walk off, to not get involved with others as it could only lead to the wrong later on right? His stomach let out a low grumble that seemed to set off the thought that he was hungry. He could go for a good hunt but he'd rather do it elsewhere...Shaking his head he tried to get his mischievous thoughts away from his mind.
