1x1 Between ~Vitani~ and Hartz

Flare: She basically ignored Zelbourne behind her as she walks the familiar paths through the forest. She stops at a small clearing with a few big rocks in it's center. She leaps onto on of the boulders, and lays down, perking her ears up to listen.

(OMG! There are birds at my window!)

Zelbourne stopped to rest. She perked up her ears. She could hear a faint growl. A lynx attacked her and knocked her down. Zelbourne growled threateningly. The lynx snarled and scarred her right eye. Zelbourne pinned the lynx down by attacking it's neck. Then the lynx cut Zelbourne's ear to ribbons. Zelbourne fell back, her ear badly wounded. The lynx disappeared, but it appeared again, attacking from above. Zelbourne jumped up and managed to wound the lynx's neck. It let out a part snarl part meow. Zelbourne growled.

Flare: She watches the lynx attack from her rock, and sighs.

Shadow: He runs panting from the bushes, and growls. "That's why I don't want to find a pack." He says, leaping to sit beside flare.

The lynx attacked Zelbourne again and both rolled past the rock Shadow and Flare were sitting on. Zelbourne hit a tree. The lynx was about to finish her.

Shadow: He growls again and leaps onto the lynx's back, biting into it's neck.

The lynx snarled with pain and managed to bite Shadow's ear. Zelbourne was lying unconscious.

(Not you too! Urgh, why can't they leave us alone!? I could just yell and cry. But then my mom would turn the computer OFF!)

Shadow: he growls, and yanks his ear out of the lynx's mouth, ripping it to shreds.

Flare: stands, and jumps on the lynx as well, defending Shadow. She growls, and gives the lynx a fatal bite to the neck.

The lynx lay dead on the ground. Zelbourne was still on the ground, without any sign of waking up.

Shadow: He sighs, and pokes Zelbourne in the side with his nose. "Wake up." he says loudly.
