I look at Sadie, her pelt all glossy and clean. I licked her between the ears before goign into the hotel lobby.

Simpifa sat in the courtyard, looking around, fur shining from the lights of the clear pool beside her. She smiled, tail wagging as her bright eyes searched for someone to talk to.

Magic layed on her bed in her room, watching her doggy door, head on her legs as her paws stretched out before her, relaxed, but alert. Well, mainly alert, because she could never be relaxed, not even in her own room. Next morning and that security door system will be installed here! She thought excitedly.

Cup slept in his room.

Cry's door was shut, locked, as she curled up on her bed, eyes shut, ears perked.

Rudy slept in his room, door locked.

Asher slept in his room, leaving the window open, his room on the top floor.

Boomer walked around the courtyard. His head, tail, and nose down. He was such a coward! He whined and laid down by the huge fountain. Setting his head on his paws he whined some more.

Duke lays in his room, his chewy bone sitting beside him. His eyes flutter closed and he begins to snore.

Hunter
I lap up a few mouth fulls of water before returning to Sadie. My amber eyes watch for anything that might threaten my sister.

Sadie
I sigh and shake my head sadly. Hunter was always scared for my life since Daisy died.

Blue
I cock my head towards Chloe, "Why are you breathing hard?" I ask michieviously.

Chloe
I growl and take a step towards Blue.

"We could swim in the lakes still?" He smiled. "Or we could go to the fair!" He said happily, his tail wagging.
[ Aurora was still talking to Rudy. ]

"A fair? Like a Summer Festival?" Gelu asked, her ears perking. She remembered the festival back in the mountains where the few hundred people of the town and their dogs would play games and go hunting.

Dallas wandered the building, looking for a nice female dog to hang out with. He knew his brother would be doing the same, and he wasn't to be outdone.

(Rudy padded away because they said goodbye...*Too lazy to go back......*)

Houston nodded, "Yeah! Like one of those!" He said, running around her, his golden cream fur blowing against his fur in the wind.

"So where do we go?" Gelu asked, wagging her tail shyly. Her white fur sparkled in the light and her blue eyes were filled with excitement for the first time since she and her sister set out on their journey to the city.

Dallas yawned, still searching.

Sagitta waited to see where Shade would lead her.
