Wildpaw's heart pounded in her chest. She'd never helped deliver kits before! She nodded. "Yes, we have a medicine cat. I'm the medicine cat apprentice." She darted out of the nursery. "Heartflower!" She shrieked. "Foxtail's kits are coming." She slipped into the medicine den and swiftly grabbed some borage and raspberry leaves. She exited and raced back towards the nursery, her tail sticking straight up.

Falconwing kicked dirt and leaves over his catch. He turned to greet Goldpelt. "Hello, Goldpelt." He turned to Flamepaw, waiting to see if the apprentice had something to say.
