She lay by the river-bed, gazing down at her reflection in the rippling waters. She looked up at the bright moon overhead, then towards the tall grass, alive with the chirping of small crickets

Looked around, she spotted Deablo and padded over to him. Slowly she grew smaller, her black fur turning into black and green scales. "Hey!"

He smiled "Hay. Care to join me for a midnight hunt?"

He lay her head on her silky white paws. Her eye lids were heavy as she gazed aimlessly into the shallow waters

"Sssure." Her crimson red tounge slithered in and out like flames, her eyes twinkling like black stars in the sky. Slithering after him she smiled, her eyes bright and happy, she was also starving hoping to find a tasty vole or something.

He glanced behind him, smiling. He looked ahead and crawled on over the murky forest floor. His forked tongue flickered in and out of his large, fang lined lips. He tasted a mouse hole in the air
