Streamtail nodded at Firepaw and Windpaw. "Yep, just like that." She smiled quickly, before snapping back to a thorn that she had stepped on. "StarClan... I'll be right back," she growled, limping over to Cloudnose's cave.

Sunkit growled, his blue eyes narrowing. He really was bored, and just watched the Clan from the medicine den.

Windpaw's gaze followed her mentor out. She hoped Streamtail was alright. Shaking her head, she returned to the moss.

Ripplepaw was in the medicine cat den, sorting herbs, when she heard a cat approaching. She turned to see Streamtail limping towards the den. She quickly finished sorting the herbs so she could respond to Streamtail if she needed something.

"Hi, Ripplepaw," She meowed to the apprentice. "I have a thorn in my paw. Don't really know how to get it out, either.." She looked down, a bit ashamed on not knowing how to get the little thorn out of her paw.

Ripplepaw nodded to the older she-cat. "It's ok, I'll get it out for you!" She bounded up towards Streamtail. She examined it from paw tips to paw pads. She found it stuck in the middle, right on the paw pad. "Ouch...that looks like it hurts...Don't worry I'll get it out in no time." She ran to the storage to find the necessary herbs needed. She came back soon with some Marigold. "I'll put that on it after I pull the thorn out to prevent infection," she mewed.

"Thanks," Streamtail murmured, a pang in her stomach as she thought of that time ago... She shook it from her memory and smiled at Ripplepaw.

Lightpaw watched Leopardbelly, and she saw another bird. Jumping up, she knicked its wing, causing it to fall.

Streamtail trotted back to the den, a slight limp in her paw. "Windpaw, are you ready for training?" she asked, and thanked the other apprentices and warriors that helped them clean the den. She strutted out, and hoped that Windpaw would follow. She saw Ashstar, and her heart thumped quickly, but she quieted it, as she saw he wasn't looking at her, but Leapordbelly. Envy softly rose in her stomach, but she sighed and walked over to the training area, flicking her tail in hello to Lynxbound and Violetpaw as they left the camp.

Sunkit pounced upon a moss mouse, which he had made with pride. As he hit it, it flew across into the elder's den, and his eyes open as he edged away.

Windpaw dipped her head and glanced back at the elders. She padded quickly after Streamtail, tail flicking excitedly. Her silent steps reached her mentor, and she walked beside Streamtail. Only her bright eyes betrayed her excitement.

Lynxbound flipped his tail in reply,then looked back at Violetpaw. "Come, let's go hunting." He instructed, turning to pad away again.
