Windpaw dragged the last piece of moss to the pile. She looked around at Streamtail, awaiting instruction. Her tail flicked once.

[Sir Darkky]

"Yeah!", said Waterpaw, bouncing after her. "And, if we see a fox or badger, I'll be there to protect you and the camp!"

Owlmask looked down at Waterpaw. "You are going to be a great warrior" she mewed. "Now come on lets go look for prey"

[starlord.]

Lightpaw bound up to Leopardbelly. "Lets go!"

Leopardbelly purred. "Alright, alright." She loved how eager this apprentice was. She padded out into the forest hoping Lightpaw was following. "I thought we would start with hunting first. As you know, SkyClan cats can jump extremely high to catch birds in the air." She turned to the apprentice.

Blackstorm flicked her tail at Firepaw. "We'll help gather fresh moss," she said to Streamtail. "Let's go," she mewed, turning back to Firepaw.

[starlord.]

"Cool!" Lightpaw said, testing her jumping skills.

Firepaw nodded and bounded after his new mentor, eager to do apprentices duties.

Leopardbelly smiled at Lightpaw then flicked her tail. "That's enough. Let me demonstrate how we SkyClan cats use our powerful hind legs to catch prey." She tasted the air and scented a bird on a near-by branch above the two cats. She looked at it to see if she could make it and then crouched down. She then jumped up and clawed the bird's wings. As it fell to the ground, Leopardbelly caught it in her mouth and landed on her paws in front of her apprentice. She put the bird to the ground and looked at Lightpaw.

Streamtail smiled at the she-cat. She had gathered the moss quickly, and her heart was filled with warmth for the loyalty she held for the Clan. "Okay, spread the moss over the places where there used to be moss. Try to make the moss spread a bit, so we don't run out." Smiling, Streamtail took some moss and spread it out over a damp part of the ground where the moss was before.

Firepaw did what Streamtail did. He picked up a peace of fresh moss and put it over a damp part just as she had done. He looked up to Streamtail and then Blackstorm. "Like that?"

Windpaw nodded and began to copy her mentor. She pulled the moss clumps with her claws and spread them over the area. She pushed them easily over the damp areas.
