Winter fell to the hard rock covered ground. It was not to painful ,but it was not painless. She pushed herself up slowly. The support of the other wolves helped alot. "Ugg, I'm ok. Oh,I fell and twisted my leg hunting. If my judgments are right I fell quite a few feet ." She shook the dirt of her coat the best she could. "How far away are we?"

"We're not that far, just hang in there. As soon as we pass this tree, you can see the lake." Frost said to Winter smirking.

"Ok!" Winter tried to limp faster. She could not wait to lay on the soft ground by the lake. So close.....So close.... She would have run and jumped in that lake if she was not injured.

"My older brother will probably protect you, if he wasn't so mean.." she said signing.

"Oh, Frost." Ayla complained. "Stop worrying. We don't need them. We are old enough to survive on our own." Ayla said smiling.

Winter walked the last few steps to the lake, then fell down. He foot was hurting horribly. She licked it uselessly."Once I heal I could probably help you hunt.....I just need to stop falling." She Laughed. " Just wondering, why would you brother be mean? There is always a reason..."

" I don't know , honestly . " she said signing. " I just think , he's protective , I mean ..isn't every older brother?" she said prickering her ears at the sound of Winter falling down. " I wish I was a bit taller , so I could've just carried you there ." she said signing. "We're a few feet away, I can see my brother Mike and the lake."

"That would make sense,"Winter said. She attempted to roll over ,but almost fell in the water. She licked her painful leg. "I really hope this heals alright..."

"True." she said prickering her ears at the sound of Elk's.
She looked at Winter almost rolling over and into the lake. "It will heal, soon."

Mike looked at Unique cross eyed, since her nose was pressed against his, wagging her tail. He chuckled and said "You're funny.". "It's alright, I can run still. Nothing will get in my way of having fun with you." he said smirking at her.
