Roku smiled back at her as he kept at her side. He gave her another nuzzle. "Your fur is soft," he commented, resting his head up against hers for a moment. "When we get to the waterfall, are you up for a little play? Just, you know, playful tackles and such."

Fallen woke up, she whimpered and tried to stand, only to collapse back onto the ground. Her limbs still too exhausted to let her stand.

"What!" Spyder stood up and pushed Darkness off of her. She was growling by then and her fur stood on end. She liked Darkness, not liked, loved him. She would fight for him.
