Kaori bared her teeth, growling as Shadow had her pinned down. "Why should I leave your territory?!" she barked, eyes blazing. "I've lived here since my dad was murdered!" Her eyes were suddenly far away, her body slumping against the ground. "That stupid wild brute," she murmured to herself. "If only he did what dad said, dad would still be alive...."
