Arissa, with one more grunt, finally pushed through the brush to see the shapes of two wolves. She wanted to say something, but instead, she had to yelp as she felt something sharp slice her ankle. She dropped the dripping bird and whirled, her long teeth bared in a snarl that resembled both bear and wolf. she saw a small, dark shape slip back into the forest, and, with a frustrated huff, she turned back around. She could hear the birds overhead, and she suppressed a whine as the pitch of the birds' squeals hurt her ears.

"Uh, Aurora? Is that you?" she asked, rather annoyed that her poor vision kept her from being able to know right away. Her nostrils were still clogged with the hot, tangy scent of the bird; Arissa sneezed, shook her head, and looked back up at the two wolves.

The wolf howled and said " Let's go." He ran off towards Kite's smell." He ran few steppe then crashed to the ground. The wolf howled in agony. A bird had cut his leg,and it stung a bunch. He stood up and walked limping along.

We have to get to more wolves. We don't stand a chance on our own...

The only thing that really registered in Manga's mind was that they had to leave and that they didn't have a chance on their own, and he vigorously nodded his head. Truthfully, he was more of the fly-than-fight type -- he would rather run from a fight than face it. He didn't feel it made him a coward -- he just felt it made more sense to escape while you were alive than to find out you weren't strong enough to survive in the end. He turned tail and was about to take off, when suddenly two more wolves [Arissa, Conan] appeared in the clearing.

The sight of more wolves seemed to ring an alarm in Manga's head, strange because the sight of wolves alarmed him more than the fact that the birds were slowly circling them now in the sky. He never really liked wolves in particular, especially after his siblings had abandoned him and left him for dead -- and now here they were, gathering in this place, making him feel like he was being walled in. Their scent told him that they all belonged to the same pack -- he should have known, after all, Aurora spoke of being in a pack, and the healer smelled the same as well. With this knowledge, he felt even more intimidated, and instead of greeting the new wolves he slunk back, trying to make himself as inconspicuous as possible -- with the intention of running away and leaving the packmates alone.

After all, they wouldn't want him around, he was just a loner...and in his experience, pack wolves never liked loners.

(( Hey guys -- I'm gonna have limited internet access for the next three-to-four weeks D: Can you guys just pretend Manga slunk away into the bushes and hid from the pack wolves while I'm gone? I'll try to get on as much as possible but I don't know how much time I'll actually have to sit down and write ;n;

"Huster?!" Sparrow exclaimed, her stride faltering as she heard his howl of agony. "Let me help you." She murmured, darting to his side. She brushed up against him, helping him by letting him use her shoulder and side as a support. "Are you alright?" She asked softly, a distressed whine coming from her throat.

Conan paused, looking around at the wolves in the clearing. His rounded ears slanting forwards to catch any words from them. His bright green/yellow eyes flashed with fear as he caught the sound of the strange metallic birds behind them. Focusing on the wolves in front of him, he watched carefully. A moving wolf caught his eye. Whoever it was, was slinking backwards, as if trying to remove himself from the clearing without being noticed. "You! I don't' care if your a loner, we need all the wolves we can get. I advice you stay." He growled, stepping closer to get a better look at the other wolf [Manga]. His tail curled over his back in a sign of dominance, and his ears flattened.

Personality: Shadow is feirce, and does not take things from other wolves. She is quite independent and confident, along with outgoing. When she hunts it is almost effortless, and very gracefull. She is seductive and flirty, but when she finds the one, he is the one.
Appearance: Shadow is solid black with icy blue eyes. Her teeth and claws stand out amazingly against her black fur.

Other: She is suspected to be crossed with a Tiger of prehistoric sort, or possibly a Lion.
