Aurora snapped her head to the side, watching as Manga flung himself towards her. She got thrown a bit off of her feet, letting her guard down momentarily. She snarled, getting angry. For a second, her eyes flashed towards Kite, calculating her chances. Instead of listening to instinct and charging towards Kite, the obviously injured wolf, she pursued Manga, who had just left his bloody scent all around her. It was irresistible to a shark-wolf's nose. What am I doing?! She screamed at herself, her feet faltering for a moment, sending her face first into a tree. Her body slammed into the tree, resounding with a very loud Crack. She shook her head, dazed for a moment, and she couldn't really realize what she was doing.
Aurora noticed Manga's blood on her pelt Oh my gosh... What have I done? She tried to resist the urge to track down the scent, as her head was throbbing and her body was shaking with exhaustion. She growled, remembering the hunt, but since she let down her guard, a bit of her conscious peeked through. Don't... She warned herself, uncomfortably wavering in place. She let out a halfhearted growl, and did one thing before she gave up the hunt. She smeared mud on her nose. Hopefully that would block out the scent. For now.
