Aurora's bloodlust did not cease, but she did start to lose hope after the scent of the loner faded. She could continue following the trail of broken leaves, but she knew if he was this fast, she'd never catch up to him. She sighed, her murderous glare slowly fading as the scent of blood also faded. She almost stopped running, her muscles and knees aching from the chase, but the scent of the male suddenly met her nose again. She cocked her head, confused. She could tell that the scent led to the border, but not far over it. She slid to a stop, leaves and twigs flying around her in a flurry, and she crept forward. Her eyes were blurry and she could barely breath. She panted, hoping she wasn't making too much noise. The blood had gone straight to her head, and she was getting extremely dizzy. She staggered forward, trying to keep her footing, but she couldn't even feel her legs anymore.
Aurora watched as the ground met her, and she crashed to the forest floor, dark black and red spots forming in her vision. Her eyes fluttered close against her will, and she blacked out. She had gone out of control over the blood, and it had taken it's toll on her body. The last thought through her mind was Oh, please don't let anyone find me...
