Shadow was crossed with a panther. His fur is cat-like, and his tail is a cat's. He can hiss like a cat.
Personality
Shadow prefers to be left alone. He's solitary, it's just his nature. Maybe it would be better for him to stay with a pack, but it isn't in his mind. He sees it as a burden and vulnerability, having to care for the pack. Thats what really marks Shadow out as an individual. His subtle self-centered instinct set. Maybe it's from the cat DNA, or maybe it's just him. Whatever be his reason, he is always thinking to his advantage. Shadow can even act like you're friend, only to be using you as a guard against another. He is rude and vicious when wielding his words. But that's not the real him. The only reason he is so mean when speaking is because it's the only way he knows of to protect himself from hurt.

Shadow just doesn't know how to handle emotional connection. He's never had a relationship, and as far as he's concerned, all love ends in pain, and he avoids that at all costs. Whether physical or mental, Shadow tries to shy from any pain. He also picks fights. He is easily offended, and holds the most concrete of grudges. To ruin him once is to mark yourself for life. Anyone who does him wrong once is scarred as an enemy in his every aspect. Shadow is aggresive, another way to keep his mind safe. It keeps others away from him, and that's all he's ever had in mind. Safety for himself.
Appearance
Shadow's fur is short like a Panther's, having the same texture and color, a jet black. His eyes are a glinting yellow and have vertical pupils. He has trouble seeing in daylight, but can see very well in the dark. His legs are long and thin, allowing for maximum speed and agility with his size. He is big, looking down on most, and has a lethe build. His skull is narrow, and his muzzle is long and narrow. His eyes are slanted and almond shaped, set close together on his skull. All in all, he is a good balance between feline and canine. His tail is that of a Panther's. His paws, kind of big for his legs, have claws that are extra long. They are not retractible. His body was not compatible with that. It could not form the needs. Shadow's ears are very good sized and more rounded than most wolf ears. All in all, he has plenty of canine and feline aspects melded together.
