Phyre
The uneasy feline slinked through the side-alleyway, pasting herself into the buildings' shadows, the only hint of her existence being the faint glowing of her eyes. She had heard a loud commotion only seconds earlier, the loud banging of a trash can, it sounded like, and she was moving as far away as possible. She slipped in behind a clump of brush just outside of the alleyway in time to see a stray dog galloping through, panting wildly, as if chasing something. She peered her head out of the leaves, and her dark eyes widened at what she saw; a cat, being chased by the vicious beast. She hissed subconsciously, her fur pricking in the urge to stand up. She absolutely loathed being around other creatures, other cats in particular...but, she hated dogs even more.
She snarled at her own stupidity, but broke off in a sprint down the sidewalk, dodging behind every possible brush to keep out of the sights of the dog. It took her a few minutes due to their speed, but she eventually caught up with them, staying hidden in a long row of flowering bushes. She looked over at the cat, Ezekiel, and chirped once, shortly, like a cat who immitates birds in the hunt. A sound the dog would dismiss as nothing /but/ a bird. Hopefully, Ezekiel would catch the unnatural note in it. She looked up ahead, and hissed quietly under her heavy breath when she noticed that the brush was about to run out, and she'd be out in the open. That cat needed to break to the bushes, and he needed to break immediately.
