A canid would slink past the cave, furless, thick leathery skin and an obvious lack of features made this creature a bit more than frightening, jaws agape slightly showing long canines and sharpened fangs, but its speed didn't give anyone an actual chance to look at it. If a male had triedto stop it, the two alphas would find him with his head chewed through, eyes gouged out, and with a look of terror on his face.
(I decided to change Motoko's appearance, so. Based loosely on the Outsider from Watchers by Dean Koontz, but far more canine.)
