Hello, people. :3 I'm Sheepeh, your loyal, somewhat insane DreamClan administrator. First off: don't ignore this thread simply because there's a lot of words. ^^ If you're familiar with standard RP rules, the Seasons of the Clans Saga, and/or the Warriors books by Erin Hunter, it shouldn't be hard to catch on. (;

Before you decide to join -- and you know you will -- there are a few things you should know.

◊ Even if you believe you know the original warrior code by heart, please take the time to read our updated version, as it has some added twists and such.

◊ If you're not on the Clan list, I apologize. However, don't expect your name to magically appear the next day -- chances are, if you're not on there a day or so after you've been accepted, I've forgotten to add you or I've misplaced your form. Please PM me if the occasion arises -- I don't have a crystal ball I can turn to to see if you guys ever have any problems.

It has been many moons since the battle with BloodClan, the Great Journey to the Lake Territory, and the drought. The Old Clans have faded out: ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and WindClan are no more. Even StarClan was left behind, forgotten. Instead, there are now three Clans -- MythClan, LegendClan, and DreamClan -- brought to life by a group of young cats. Even a new generation of ancestors has been born; known to the Clan cats as EternalClan.

7/28/11 This actually happened yesterday, but whatever. oUo Rainkit, Fuzzkit, and Shadowkit are apprentices -- now Rainpaw, Fuzzpaw, and Shadowpaw. (; I've listed their mentors on the Clan list, but if you haven't already seen it, here they are.

Jackheart will be mentoring Rainpaw.
Glasstail will be mentoring Fuzzpaw.
Brownstar will be mentoring Shadowpaw.

6/19/11 We're trying to "reboot" the RP -- the thread's under construction, and a new feature's going to be added soon.

IMPORTANT: Because it's the start of the RP's new year, we've decided to delete all of the characters so we can start off on a clean slate. If you were previously a part of the RP and wish to continue participating, you'll need to resubmit your cat bio (yes, you can re-use your old ones). Those of you who're joining for the first time, nothing's changed for you. (:

R u l e s

◊ Follow the general Chicken Smoothie RP rules.
◊ No power-playing, Gary Sues, Mary Sues, God-modding, etc. See this thread if you're not sure what those terms are referring to.
◊ Every cat has to die at some point: no immortal cats.
◊ No powers -- try to make this fun and realistic (no flying cats, mind-readers, or purple cats with yellow polka-dots).
◊ You're allowed to have as many characters as you can handle.
◊ Be nice.
◊ C'mon, people -- let's keep this PG-13.
◊ Kits are an essential part of Clan life, just don't go into detail (see rule above)! Please, just say something like this...

Kittycat and Pussycat went off to be alone.

◊ Your cats may not have kits unless both people agree on the matter.
◊ Please do not join unless you've read at least one of the Warriors books by Erin Hunter. It's just too complex for you to understand by reading a few sentences, and I don't have time to explain the whole system to you.

◊ You must stay active! Any players who remain inactive for a period of over fourteen days will be deleted. Any persons wishing to rejoin the RP will be required to submit an entirely new cat bio.

1 Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan alone.
2 Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3 Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.
4 Prey is killed only to be eaten -- give thanks to EternalClan for its life.
5 A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6 Newly-appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after recieving their warrior name.
7 A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8 After the death or retirement of a deputy, a new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
9 A gathering of all three Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for one night. There shall be no fighting among the Clans at this time.
10 Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
11 No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if that kit is from another Clan.
12 The word of the Clan leader is the law.
13 An honorable warrior does not need to kill to win his battles unless the opposing force is outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
14 A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
15 The eldest of the leader's kits will be made leader. If a kit is not old enough or turns it down, the deputy is given the role.
16 Medicine cats are allowed to have kits, but only if they're male. However, both males and females are permitted to have mates.
