Padding out of the nursery, Owlstar sighed with content as he noticed that his mate was doing just fine. Not long now. Anyways, I need to see what patrols Brownclaw has set up for today. He thought, mindlessly heading in the direction of the Warrior's Den. Maybe she's still in here. He figured, poking his head into the familiar den, "Brownclaw? Are you in here?" he asked, his fluffy tail swaying back and forth.
Silverpaw||ThunderClan
Sticking his head out of the den, the silver tabby lazily padded out, practically dragged himself out of the Apprentice's Den. The sunlight was harsh to his unadjusted green eyes, but he cured that by looking down at his paws. Alright, let's see if I can find Jaystorm. I don't really want to do any work, so maybe he'll teach me some more battle moves or something. He thought, glancing around.
Sparrowdapple and Willowbrook//WindClan
"Sorry to bother you, Willowbrook." Sparrowdapple apologized as the light brown she-cat carefully wrapped up his injured paw. The Medicine Cat shook her head, "Calm down. You don't need to apologize for hurting yourself." she giggled, setting the Tom's paw down. Nodding, the tortoiseshell Tom smiled sheepishly, "Yeah, sorry, Willowbrook. Thanks again." he meowed as he turned and exited the den. Now that his paw was wrapped up, he could get back to his duties as Deputy. Alright. I need to find Palepaw.
Rosepaw//WindClan
Shyly, Rosepaw waited patiently outside the leader's den; awaiting to train with her mentor. She stuck close to the side of the den, not wanting to be seen easily by any of the others that might be about at the moment. I just want to find Brackenstar and get a move on. Hopefully we won't train with the others.
Mudpaw~~RiverClan
Carrying a small bundle of Poppy Seeds, Mudpaw padded back into the Medicine Cat's Den and set the herb aside with the others. Once that was done, he smiled and glanced over to see if his mentor was still sleeping. Cautiously, he circled around the bedding, his body low and his green eyes glowing. Bunching up his muscles, he grinned and playfully leapt at the mound.
Firemane~~RiverClan
Firemane sat at the entrance of the Elder's Den, watching as the Clan awoke into the morning. His dulled ginger fur light up as the light from the sun hit it, making it seem new again. Sighing, the elderly Tom glanced around, not wanting to bother Otterfoot if he was still asleep. Maybe the Apprentices will want to hear a story of the good ol' days. Ya never know.
Mousepaw__ShadowClan
Mousepaw grinned as he pranced out of the Apprentice's Den, the dusty brown Tom padded in the direction of the Warrior's Den, ready to go and find his mentor. He stood in the mouth of the den, plopping down onto his haunches, and curling his tail over his paws. "Maplefur!" he called out.
Coalmoon__ShadowClan
Thank StarClan no one else is around here. Coalmoon thought as he padded out of camp and into the darkness of the ShadowClan forest. His black pelt hid him well, but the white patches stuck out in the dark. Stealthily, he slunk through the trees, careful to try and find any scent of prey so the others wouldn't think he went out for nothing. Nothing. I can't find anything.
{I'm so sorry this took so long D: First, I had to clean up the backyard, then my mom told me to get the paper for my summer project, then I got stuck talking about it forever, and then I kept getting distracted >.< I feel bad :c}
i sent snacky a joke and they gave me a yeen what a world
[Its ok, I had to go and eat dinner so It wasn't really that long a wait. I'm guessing its morning in the Role Play?]
Brownclaw Brownclaw looked up, eyes alert and steady. She slowly stretched, then sat down and began to lick her chest. "Yes, Owlstar? What is it?" She asked between licks, her whiskers twitching with anticipation for the day. She was deputy for Starclan's sake! Why shouldn't she be excited? But Brownclaw held her head, and continued to groom her chest fur.
Jaystorm "Silverpaw!" Jaystorm called from across the clearing, sitting beside the gorse tunnel. His tail twitched from side to side in impatience. When is he going to learn? Jaystorm asked himself, gazing at his silver apprentice. He could still remember his time as an apprentice, not that long ago; even he hadn't been as lazy as Silverpaw sometimes was.
Palepaw Palepaw was dreaming about chasing a rabbit, sprinting after it with all his might. He could feel the muscles in his legs working, faster and faster. Then he woke up, looking around with full alertness. He hoped he hadn't woken up any of the other apprentices. Palepaw slipped out into the camp, troting toward the fresh kill pile. When he saw Sparrowdapple, he veered to greet him. "What did you do to your paw?" He asked, looking at his mentor's bandaged foot.
Brackenstar Brackenstar yawned and stretched, then poked his nose out of his den. He could just catch the smell of Rosepaw and he sighed. He almost wish he hadn't been given Rosepaw as an apprentice. Now that he was clan leader he almost didn't have time to train her anymore. He slipped out of his den and stretched, welcoming the warmth of the sun. "Good morning." He said, shooting Rosepaw a kind glance.
Thornfur "Ouf!" Thornfur meowed as he was startled awake. "Off, you great lump!" He said, sitting up and pushing his apprentice away. He stood stock still, trying to piece togather the dignity he had left. He started to groom himself, licking down his bristleing fur with a trembling tongue.
Maplefur "Looking for me?" Maplefur asked, padding up behind Mousepaw. She smiled, her whiskers twitching in amusement. "I hope you didn't wake any of the other warriors up." She said, brushing past her apprentice to face him. "We Shadowclan warriors have quite a nasty bite." She continued, her eyes sparkling. She flicked her tail.
Skyheart Skyheart watched the River, his ears alert to any sound. He often escaped the camp in the morning, to avoid the buslte of everyone waking up. His tail twitched when a fish came into view, and his paw dipped down into the water. He growled when the fish swam away. Skyheart sighed, then looked over at the trees on the otherside of the River. He wondered if there were any Thunderclan warriors there today, but he couldn't see or smell anything.
{Dear god, I feel so bad for not posting sooner D: I really hope you don't think I'll always be like this .n.}
Owlstar||ThunderClan
Owlstar bowed his head to his Deputy as he approached her. "Hello, Brownclaw. I was just wondering what patrols you had planned for today." he meowed simply, sitting across from the she-cat. His long fur ruffled in the slight breeze that blew from behind, tossing and tangling small parts of his fur as it went.
Silverpaw||ThunderClan
Silverpaw glanced over in the direction of the tunnel when he heard his mentor's impatient voice. With a sigh, he casually padded over to the Tom, his tail dragging across the ground as he moved. "I'm coming, I'm coming." he grumbled, his eyes narrowed.
Sparrowdapple//WindClan
Sparrowdapple looked from his paw to his Apprentice. "What? Oh, I just got a few cuts. No big deal." he meowed with a shrug. "So, did you want to eat first before we start training?" he asked, flicking his colorful tail back and forth close to the ground as he awaited a reply from his Apprentice.
Rosepaw//WindClan
Rosepaw glanced up at her mentor, "Hello, Brackenstar." she mewed softly, picking herself up more. She brushed herself off, giving her chest a few shy licks. "So what are we doing today?" she asked, glancing up at her mentor.
Mudpaw}}RiverClan
Mudpaw chuckled and rolled away, only to sit right back up. He kept that same grin on his face that he usually had as he watched with amusement as he watched his mentor. "Did I scare ya, Thornfur?" he asked, a laugh ringing in his tone as he swished his tail back and forth.
Mousepaw__ShadowClan
Mousepaw grinned and shrugged, "It don't matter none to me, Maplefur. They gotta get up sometime, ya know?" he asked, standing up and padding to face his mentor, "So what're we gonna do today? Huh?" he asked, twitching his long whiskers in an odd fashion.
Goldenpoppy||ThunderClan
Thank goodness none of the others saw me. I just needed some time to get out. Goldenpoppy thought as she weaved her way through the trees, heading towards the RiverClan border. She never went this way, so it would be a nice place to explore finally. I wonder if any RiverClan cats are around...hopefully not, I don't want to have a run-in with any of them.. She thought with a shiver. Sighing, she reached the river, she glanced around a few times, not noticing any other cats, as she laid on her belly and gazed into the water.
i sent snacky a joke and they gave me a yeen what a world
[Nah, its ok. I didn't even get on until around noon anyway, and I was pretty busy with work all day. Now I'm just happy to RP again.]
Brownclaw Brownclaw dipped her head in return to her leader. "I was thinking of sending Hawkfall, Greypaw, and Shadowpelt for the morning patrol. Then Goldenpoppy could lead the afternoon patrol with Jaystorm and Silverpaw, and I could take Ravenpaw and Hawkfall for the evening." Brownclaw said, thinking of all the warriors and apprentices that could go. She twitched her tail as she remembered she had promised Ravenpaw that she would teach her to hunt that afternoon. Her plan was perfect.
Jaystorm "Move along, Silverpaw! We have no time to slack of today. I told Brownclaw I'd teach you how to fight today." He called, twitching his tail impatiently. He hadn't had a good scuffle for some time, but he knew there would be no time for that with training Silverpaw; if he could get him to fight at all.
Palepaw Palepaw looked over at the fresh kill pile then shook his head. "No, I'm fine." He said, looking back at his mentor with gleaming eyes. "So what are we going to do today?" He asked, stretching his claws in excitment.
Brackenstar Brackenstar smiled. "I was thinking of giving you a hunting assesment today." He admitted, flexing his back legs. "In a few moons, you'll be getting your warrior name; I might as well test you now." He said, looking over at Rosepaw. "I hope you're up for the challenge." Brackenstar purred, heading towards the entrance to the camp.
Thornfur Thornfur shot Mudpaw a cold look. "Starclan forbid you ever become a Medicine Cat." He growled, standing up. "I don't think there is enough power in Starclan to help you." He purred more softly, turning to Mudpaw and scuffing him gently over the ears. "Don't 'cha know you could send me to Starclan by doing that? I'm not as young as I used to be." He said, in a kindly manner.
Maplefur Maplefur stood up and started toward the camp entrance. "Amberstar requests I take you hunting today." She said, loping down the path and into the pines of Shadowclan territory. She opened her mouth a little to draw the air over her scent glands. Nothing. She hissed in fustration.
Skyheart Skyheart crouched down to lap up some water when an odd reflection caught his eye. A golden she-cat was crouched on the other side of the river, looking into the water. He stayed quiet, crouching low to the ground as the scent of Thunderclan washed over him. What was that cat doing there so early? He hissed, even if that cat wasn't a posing a threat to Riverclan; he still had to protect his territory.
Owlstar nodded, "Sounds good." he meowed. He sighed and stood up, "I need to see Blueheart for a moment. She's still in her den, correct?" he asked, peering over his Deputy in the direction of the Medicine Cat's Den.
Silverpaw||ThunderClan
Silverpaw glared at his mentor, obviously not happy to have such a rash Tom to train him. Sheesh, someone needs an attitude adjustment. Man, I if was his mentor... He thought, but let it cut off as he stood in front of his mentor. "Fine." he growled, pushing his way past his mentor and through the gorse tunnel.
Sparrowdapple//WindClan
Sparrowdapple smiled, "I'm going to take you out hunting today. Willowbrook told me not to stress my paw, so no battle training for a few days. I hope that's alright." he meowed, ducking his head apologetically slightly.
Rosepaw//WindClan
A small smile flittered across her face at the thought of becoming a Warrior soon. "Really?" she asked, her eyes brighting up at the thought. Standing up, she grinned and padded after her mentor. "I am, I promise." she mewed.
Mudpaw}}RiverClan
Mudpaw ducked his head sheepishly. "Sorry, Thornfur." he meowed, curling his tail around his paws. "But you're not that old ya know. Only about...a couple hundred seasons." he purred, pawing his mentor's arm playfully.
Mousepaw__ShadowClan
Mousepaw drooped his ears when he heard his mentor hiss in frustration. He couldn't smell any prey either, but it was still worth a shot to go and look. He sighed and looked up at his mentor, his hazel eyes glazed over, "Come on, Maplefur, I'm sure we'll find some sort of prey 'round here." he meowed. He lifted his nose up into the air, trying to catch the scent of any sign of prey in the area.
Goldenpoppy||ThunderClan
Perking her ears to the sound of light paw steps, Goldenpoppy glanced up; the scent of RiverClan close by. Oh shoot. I didn't think any RiverClan cat would be out this early. So much for getting time to myself. She thought as she sat up. Her golden eyes narrowed as she searched for the pelt of whatever RiverClan cat it was.
i sent snacky a joke and they gave me a yeen what a world
[Yo, sorry I couldn't get on sooner; we had a power out. And, just to tell you, my family bonding time is on again and I won't be here next week.]
Brownclaw Brownclaw nodded, standing up. "Yes, if she had gone somewhere she would have told me or one of the warriors." She said, looking at the medicine cats den. "Or, you could ask Specklepaw." Brownclaw continued as she troted away, heading towards the fresh kill pile.
Jaystorm Jaystorm's whiskers twitched in amusement. "And I thought you would be excited." He murmured, passing Silverpaw and bounding up to the top of the ravine. His tail twitched as he scented the air, then continued toward the sandy hollow.
Palepaw Palepaw grinned. "Thats fine, I don't mind." He stated proudly, turning to walk out of the camp. "Nightclaw didn't believe me when I said I was getting good at hunting; she thinks I'm to young." He said, he looked over his shoulder at Sparrowdapple. "What do you think?" He asked in a quieter tone of voice.
Brackenstar Brackenstar enjoyed seeing his apprentice light up like that. "Good." He said, nodding. He went through the tunnel and waited for his apprentice to join him on the edge of the moor. He hoped his deputy could deal with the days patrols; but if they had a good hunt, they wouldn't have to worry as much.
Thornfur Thornfur chuckled. "Yeah," He sighed. He enjoyed his apprentice's company, but he often wondered if Mudpaw would be ready when he did join Starclan. They liked eachother, and they had a strong bond; but, was Mudpaw really learning anything? Thornfur prayed to Starclan that he would be ready.
Maplefur Maplefur appreciated her apprentice's attitude, but every Shadowclan warrior knew even in the best of moons there was only just enough prey to be found, and that they had to try very hard to find it. Maplefur sighed. "Maybe." She purred, troting into a hollow and copying her apprentice's movments.
Skyheart Skyheart stood up, his ears perked forward toward the golden Thunderclan she-cat. "Who are you?" He called over the quiet rumble of the river, trying not to let to much hostility in his voice.
Owlstar nodded, "True." he meowed, but his Deputy was already moving towards the Fresh-kill pile. With a sigh, the bulky Tom stood up, moving towards the Medicine Cat's Den. He stopped at the entrance briefly, staring into it for a brief moment, before poking his head inside. "Blueheart?" he called out as his amber eyes flickered back and forth.
Silverpaw||ThunderClan
Silverpaw sighed as he sauntered after Jaystorm. No, I'm not going to be excited. I want to go and rest, not train with you. He thought bitterly. With a sigh, the gray tabby continued to follow his mentor, his tail tip twitching as he did so. "So what are we doing today? Offensive? Defensive?"
Sparrowdapple//WindClan
Sparrowdapple glanced over at his Apprentice, taking note of his more quieter tone that he used. His amber eyes dulled slightly as he thought about his training with Palepaw. Finally, he shook his head and smiled, "No, you're doing just fine." he meowed, flicking his ear.
Rosepaw//WindClan
Rosepaw hurried after her mentor, excited about her hunting assessment, but also nervous. With her knowing that Brackenstar was going to be watching her every move, it made her want to jump out of her pelt and run for the lake. No...I can do this..I'm doing this so I can be a Warrior! She thought as she padded after the Tom.
Mudpaw}}RiverClan
Mudpaw smiled as he gazed at his mentor. He seemed deep in thought, but wasn't sure what he could possibly be thinking about. Maybe about me? Nah, maybe about how old he is. Yeah, that's probably it. He probably forgot how old he was. He thought with a quiet chuckle.
Mousepaw__ShadowClan
Mousepaw sighed and began to move forwards. His nose remained in the air, as he tried to catch any remote scent that could be in the area. Nothing. Ears drooped, he turned his head and looked back at his mentor. "Find anythin'?" he asked, his eyes glimmering with hope.
Goldenpoppy||ThunderClan
Goldenpoppy shyly pinned her ears back as the Tom came into view. "Uh, my name is Goldenpoppy.." she called back, a bit more quietly to where it was just heard over the quiet babbling of the river. "Who are you?" she asked, her golden eyes curious.
