Tinyleaf smiled. "Good, now lower your tail so it's almost touching the ground." She pointed out, flicking her tail twords the kit's. "That way, you won't alert your prey when you're stalking it."

Oakkit let his short tail slowly fall. He held it just above the ground. A snow flake landed on his nose, startling him slightly, but he settled back to his crouch.

"Now stalk foreward, slowly. Keep your focus on the prey infront of you." Tinyleaf watched as the kit lowered his tail. Oakkit would make an exceptional hunter.

Oakkit took a tentative step forward, nose twitching. His eye focused on his brother, who wasn't paying attention to anything but the snow.
Tigereye noticed this and held back a laugh.

Tinyleaf purred with amusement when she saw Oakkit's target. She watched carefully. "Spring just when you think the moment is right." She whispered.

Oakkit waited a few moments, and then bunched his hind legs. Much to his own amazement, he landed squarely on Flamekit who squealed in shock. "Oakkit!" He yowled. Tigereye burst out laughing, "Nice job, Oakkit."
The young, semi-blind tom sat on his brother proudly, "I got you."

Rainstep was collecting some herbs.

Dewfrost looked around for Fawnstar "Fawnstar!" she yowled urgently.

Barkpelt followed behind, the fur on his neck bristling and raised. "Fawnstar!"

"You sure did!" Tinyleaf let out a mrow of laughter. "Great job, Oakkit." She praised.

Fawnstar jumped, "Yes?" She turned to the two warriors, fur slightly bristled. As she waited for them to speak, she calmed down a bit.

Flamekit shoved his brother off of his chest and got up, "I just wasnt ready."
"Yeah I know." Oakkit mewed, standing taller than normal.
"But that's not fair!" Flamekit complained.
Tigereye shook his head, "Flamekit, in battle you will be ambushed all the time. It is life."
The fluffy ginger kit pouted slightly.
Oakkit battled his brother between the ears with a soft paw, "You had some snow piling between your ears."
Flamekit leapt at Oakkit and pinned him to the ground, "Ha!"
The smaller kit wriggled and pawed at his brother's belly and stared up at Flamekit's eyes. That look... "Daddy!" Oakkit squealed.
Tigereye jumped, "Flamekit! Get off your brother." The young tom jumped off of Oakkit and sat down.
