"Crazy flea-brain," Agira muttered under his breath, beginning to wash his face -- his stance remained superior: he would most certainly not be spoken to that way by someone who was so much younger than him. "I'm here to see your mother," he mewed, flicking his tail irritably. "Taking her up on an offer she made me quite some time ago. Although," he added, analyzing the defensive stances of Fawnpaw and a ridiculously fluffy tabby tom who somewhat resembled her brother, Tigerpaw, "I don't suppose either of you's going to tell me where she is, are you?"

Tigereye and Fawnstar exchanged glances and Fawnstar looked at her paws. He doesnt know that Froststar died... She sat down and sighed.
Tigereye stared at Agira, still not recongizing him. At all.
Fawnstar shrugged eventually, "I'm not Fawnpaw anymore. It's Fawnstar. And this is Tigereye." She stressed the prefixes of their names. Then she blinked, "You cant see our mother."
Tigereye looked at Fawnstar nervously, wondering what she was about to do.

"Fine, fine," replied Agira, his tiny, thorn-like claws forming deep ruts in the ground as he attempted to stay calm. "No need to be so snide about it." The tabby-and-brown tom's ears were flat against his head; he cleared his throat in an unsuccessful attempt to hide the low hiss that was now escaping his chest. "But don't think that I'm going to go back to that pathetic fox-hole that I'm supposed to live in. No, I'm staying right here until, a) you tell me where she is, or b) she comes back on her own."

Fawnstar struggled to keep her fur flat, "Froststar is dead. If you want to speak with her, I can gladly take care of that for you." She stepped forward threateningly, "I dont think you would have spoken to my mother than way and you shouldnt talk to me like this either." She started to bristle.
Tigereye flipped his tail, but made no move to stop his sister.

OOC - Lol, hazard of being pregnant and the leader of the Clan at the same time.

"I can speak to you any way I'd like," replied Agira, rising to his paws and taking on a stance that was startlingly threatening for such a small cat. "You have no jurisdiction over me and I've seen you at your stupidest. I've known you since you were just a kit -- so maybe it's you who shouldn't be speaking to me that way. What was that old Clan tradition about respecting your elders, again?" He tilted his head upward and furrowed his brow in mock concentration, rather pleased with himself.

Fawnstar hissed, unnerved by the smaller tom, "That is one tradition. I dont think you would have forgotten about 'The leader's word is law' and that clan members respect their leader." She narrowed her eyes, "Now if you are going to keep acting like this, I'll most likely not follow through with my mother's offer. My clan is all too happy to chase out a loner like you." She lashed her tail and spoke through clenched teeth. It took all of her strength to keep herself from launching herself at Agira with all of her pregnant terror.
Tigereye looked around the camp, wondering where Willowtail was during all of this. He knew that alone, he had no control over his sister. If she was going to tear this cat to shreds, he wouldnt be able to stop her.

Willowtail emerged from he and Fawnstar's' den, blinking sleepily. Narrowing his eyes in the clear morning sunshine, he scanned the camp, searching for a trace of his mate's mottled tabby-and-white pelt. Was that her across camp, all fluffed up and hissing at some cat he didn't recognize? She looked like she was about to rip the poor guy to shreds... "Fawnstar!" he called, breaking into a run; clouds of dust curling into the air behind him as his paws skimmed the dry, crusty earth. "What are you doing?" Heart beating rapidly, the brown-and-white tom skidded to a halt between his mate and the offending tom, his tender paw pads red and swollen.

Fawnstar barely looked at Willowtail, "This... thing." She spat, "Thinks he can talk to me like I'm still a kit and wants to talk to my mother. My dead mother. Clearly, he doesnt think that talking to a leader sensabily and respectfully is the smart thing to do." She growled, "Now he expects me to continue Froststar's offer on letting him stay in the clan even though he's so thoroughly offended me." She continued to lash her tail angrily, her mind racing.

"Oh, so you do remember me, little Fawnpaw," mewed Agira sarcastically, allowing himself a small roll of the eyes.

Willowtail licked the top of Fawnstar's head soothingly, taking a casual position at her side. "It's Agira," he murmurred in her ear, his handsome blue eyes sparkling in amusement. "Since when have we known him to be polite? However, as much of a snow-brain he might be, it would be unfair for you to refuse him his rightful place in the Clan. Frostar made him an offer, and now it's up to you to uphold that offer now that he wishes to take her up on it."

Fawnstar hissed sharply at Agira's remark then turned to Willowtail. She said nothing and then looked at Agira, "If it wasnt for my mother's offer, I wouldnt be saying this. I'll let you stay... provided that you are able to hunt and fight." She kept her eyes narrowed. She didnt need any more mouths to feed during the leafbare if they didnt hunt for the clan as well. She flicked her tail, "ONLY because Froststar made the offer. If I wasnt doing good by her, you and your rudeness would be out of here."
She lashed her tail once more then turned to the fresh kill pile. Tired of the conversation, she picked a small mouse for herself then padded off to a small overhang at the bottom of the path from her den.

Tigereye rolled his eyes and walked back to the nursery. He sat down near Brightfur's nest, "How is everything? Do you need anything to eat?"
