OOC - I think we should do it later, after the excitement with the kit's died down a bit. It seems kind of inappropriate to do an apprentice ceremony when everyone just found out that there's a horribly injured kit in camp.
Timberfall grasped the rabbit's velvety ears between his teeth and started back towards camp, his eyes -- usually so full of fright and terror, if he allowed anyone to see them at all -- glowing with pride. Blood seeped from the carcass, trickling down its neck to form a deep crimson trail in the fluffy white snow. Oh, no, he thought, his eyes darting back-and-forth from one side of his path to the other in a rather paranoid fashion. What if there are badgers out here? Foxes? Wolves?! What if they track the rabbit's blood and find me?! WHAT IF THEY DECIDE TO KILL ME?! He adjusted his grip on the creature's round body and broke into a run, the hairs along his spine risen in a stiff, spikey row. He was sure they were following him, chasing him, tracking the tempting scent of the rabbit's blood. He could hear them now, their howls melting into the wind --
"Oof."
The young tom now found himself sprawled across the forest floor, his limbs twisted in various strange positions. The rabbit lay in the bushes, still oozing blood and turning the pale branches of the shrub a vibrant shade of red. "Watch where you're going," snapped Agira, prodding Timberfall's shoulder with a tabby-and-brown paw.
Timberfall was paralyzed with fear, his chest rising and falling as quickly as that of a mouse or a vole who was being hunted down by a shark. Who was this strange, terrifying tabby-and-brown tom who stood before him, talking to him as though he were a perfectly normal cat?
Agira eyed the other cat in concern, somewhat disturbed by how fast he was breathing and how little he was moving. But still, he did nothing -- he had no interest in this panicky, paranoid being whatsoever. Besides, the pathetic creature'd be up and about in a few moments anyhow, whether he did something or not. "Well, nice catch," he added cautiously, and, turning on his heel, trotted deep into the forest, disappearing from sight.
OOC - XD This is too much fun.

Greetings. Toad's the name, and sarcasm is my game. (You may call me Toad.) I am a fan of knitting and most (if not all) varieties of pie. I like pretending I'm cooler than I actually am and acting like a fool. I am the most serious person you will ever meet. Seriously.
