Handaru padded proudly back to the pack with two rabbits in her jaws, the saticfied look on her face just too bold for words. It was really early, yes, but she did not care in the least. She just held her prize high with a mighty look and went to the kill pile, throwing her rabbits into it. "I just went for some breakfast. They were fast, but not fast enough for me." She giggled, her tail brushing against the floor and her ears pointed to show her pride. She was also holding her tail rather high off the ground. The over confident she-wolf just loved to hunt. "I could go out again if you want. There should be deer by the river." She said to Jasmine, a mental stinging in her mind. Handaru didn't like Jasmine. She thought that she was too lenient and childish to be an Alpha. Handaru wanted to over turn her reign and take rightful place as pack leader. That was just Handaru's pride though... To over turn an alpha was a hard task, and she should know. She use to be one till her and her brother's homes were all destroyed. The only reason that they still weren't together was because they all accused each other. Conner held the least rage towards his siblings, but he was still very upset, for his pups were killed in the hellish terror of shadows.

Conner sat in the center of the village, looking to the sky in silence as Damion came out of his den to call the others to wake. Conner was usually up at the first beam of dawn that touched the floor. His connection with the earth was just that powerful. "Good morning Damion. I see that Loath is back from her midnight stroll. Shall we hunt this morning?" He asked, his tail curled around his front paws. The wind felt very nice on his still open wounds. It hadn't been a month since the raid on his home. He missed his mate and pups, but he would have to move on. They were dead and gone. It was kind of a wonder why Conner was in this pack. He was a kind soul with nearly no bad qualities about him. A friendly, earth loving wolf. Why he is here would be a mystery to all.

Kyuokurin had been hunting all night, only having been able to take down a fawn. He had eated the tender meat off the bones and was now at the river, washing his bloodied pelt in the cool water, no matter how much he hated water. It was a useful thing to have at his disposal. He would have to figure out what to do. He hadn't see his brother or sister wince they had left the villages, having argued about what had happened. The three elders were close until that incident, and he was still trying to figure out what had happened.... Well, he was now in this territory, far from their old packs and wolven villages. He would have to forget about it. They were enemies now, and were going to act as such.

Mayia was laying behind her den, looking at the sky as the night turned back into day and the sweet moonlight drifted from her grasp. She didn't like to sleep. Mayia didn't have a memory to speak of, and the demonic imaged that ran through her mind were too horrible. The soft embrace of sleep was not enough to make up for all the torture that slept brought her. Quietly, the petite she-wolf heard voices of her comrades and hopped onto the branches of a tree, perching high above the ground so that she could see from her place under the willow tree. Her den was dug out at the base of that willow tree, all by herself. Granted, it took a week or two, but she was able to make it big enough to fit eight wolves of her size... In other words, three to five wolves around, say, Jamel's size. They were talking about hunting... How Mayia hated the thought. She was all for eating, but Mayia would rather have fish, or something easy to scavange. She wouldn't mind left overs, but she couldn't handle hunting.
