Daire padded around his territory, scent marking it and checking to make sure no bachelors had crossed the border. Nothing, good. The lion though as he roared, padding back to his pride. He saw Haily and brushed his pelt against the lioness in greeting. Daire sat on a large flat rock, his yellowy brown eyes scanning the territory for trespassers.

Kanzii sat in the shade of a Acacia tree, rasping her tongue over a paw. She rolled onto her back; still sheltered from the burning sun by the tree. During the day it was best to simply sit around instead of hunting; hunting was best done at night when it was cooler. The lioness glanced around for either of the male curiously.

Tobi grumbles as he glances around his territory. His tail swishes back and forth,and his mane flows softly as he trots across the plains. He glances over to see Kanzii and pads over to her, giving her a small nuzzle before laying down next to her in the shade. His amber eyes scan the horizon, and he turns to Kanzii with a small smirk.

Jok watches his brother, and with a twist of his head, turns to pad over to the borders of their territory. He grunts as he smells the recent markings of the bordering lion pride, and he turns to make a scent marking of his own. He quickly turns and trots back over to his brother and their lioness, nuzzling both of them as he lays down onto his backside, playfully nudging Kanzii's face.

"How are you two doing?" She asked with a smile, playfully batting her paw at Jok, her amber eyes shining happily as she twisted her head to face Tobi.

Tobi chuckles slightly as he looks her in the eyes, "I'm doing well," He turns his head and swats at his brother with a frown on his face. "Just a bit hot today, as usual. How are you doing?" His eyes turn, gazing out to find a herd of impala nearby. A small grunt emits from his throat as he knows it's too hot to hunt.

Jok continues to bat with her paws, a little flirtatiously as he looks up at her. He sighs and rolls over onto his side, facing the impala herd. "I smelled along the border, that pride is has just scented their border." He growls softly as he turns his head to look at her. "Yes, how are you?"

"I'm good trying to stay cool." She replied, resting her head on Tobi. Ah, I love being in a pride with two males; it's so much more fun with them being jealous when I play with another one more so. She thought with a smirk but replaced her smirk with an innocent smile.

Tobi nods solemnly and flicks his tail about at some flies. He murrs quietly as he lays his head in his paws. "Any good hunting prospects?" He asks her with a grin. He caught her smile before, but left if alone.

Jok looks up at her, silently. He finds a small bug leaping in the grass, and squashes it with his giant paw. As he pulls his paw up, he looks off to the herd. "Oh look! One of them has given birth."

"Hey Daire."Haily says.'Wow.It is very hot today.'She thinks.

"Hello Haily." He murmured, watching the other pride in the distance with curiosity. Daire rasped his tongue over his chest, debating if he should pad over the water hole or not.

Kanzii sat up and nodded. "Possibly the female that just had her offspring; she's probably weak and the baby would be an extra bonus." She said, eyeing the herd thoughtfully. Her golden amber eyes watched to see if they noticed that they were being watched.

Haily saw the other pride and laid down.They were interesting to watch.
