Scar looked at her and said,"Whats wrong?" He wasn't used to other fox's crying.

Madi looked at him with sad eyes and turned away, facing the cave wall.

He walked over to her and sat down.

She looked at him bleakly. "The hunters." Was all she said. Her eyes probed his.

Scar slowly laid his paw on top of hers and said,"You can tell me if something is bothering you." He takes his paw away and half smiles.

She sighed and began. "My mate, Ripjaw, and I lived a peaceful life. We were alone deep in the forest and we had game and water and a wonderful den. We bred and had kits. Then after I had them, they came. The hunters. Ripjaw was defending us and they killed him. I snarled and defended the kits. The hunters killed them and I managed to escape. I ran until I found this place." She shuddered, remembering every little detail, everything she hadn't told Scar.

Scar smiled sadly and said,"I am sorry that happened. I don't know what it feels like to lose a loved one, but I do know what it feels like to be treated bad. Trust me.." He glanced at his siblings, knowing they had had one of the worst lives as cubs, expecially Kahoko. She had gone through most of the damange.

Dessi: She was running and screaming loudly, like she was scared
