"I see," Jackel shook his pelt and twicthed his ears. He listened to her carefully, he was tried. Hungry, as well. He hissed and looked at the back of his rear pads, they were cut. He sighed and started to lick his paws.

"where going around here and there..ooh!what if we go to the pizza place!they throw out alot of fish!"she was over filled with joy."okay!that sounds like fun!"jaylo was excited as much as candy was.

Rattlesnake flicked her ear hearing him hiss, getting up she stretched. Her stomach felt empty and she remembered she hadn't eaten anything since that morning. Glancing at the river she wondered if there where any fish though she hadn't fished in a while, her tail flicked back and forth for a moment as she pondered. Padding toward the river she sat on a flat rock hanging a little into a semi shallow pool and sat very still in a spot where her shadow didn't hang over the water looking for fish.

"Cool" Forest said happily getting up, he hadn't eaten for a while and his stomach started to grumble quietly.

"Mind catching me one too?" Jackel said in a low voice as he looked away from Rattlesnake. He barely asked anyone for anything, if he was gonna get something. He might have to admit that he needed help. He wasn't going to give up that easy, but...he just did.

"Sure I guess it'll be payment enough for the new collar" Rattlesnake said keeping her eyes on the still water waiting to a fish to swim by. Suddenly she saw a flash of silver as light reflected off the scales of a good sized fish, quickly she scooped it out of the water flinging onto the shore. Getting up she turned and put her paw on it to keep it from flopping back into the water, with a quick bite to its head and her claws deep in its gills she killed it. "Here ya go" she said dropping the fish at Jackel's paws.

Jackel pricked his ears with excitement, his eyes watched her every movement. He flicked the tip of his coal black tail, he pawed at the fish. "Thanks, ill give it to you..your a good hunteress.." purred jackel as he took a quick small bite of tje fish.

"Thanks" Rattlesnake purred at the compliment her head high. Turning back to the river she sat back down on the rock and waited for another fish to swim by. She watched the water waiting perfectly still till she saw it, another silver flash as sunlight reflected off the scales of another good sized fish. Quickly she scooped it out flinging it onto the shore, getting up she turned and did like she did to the other fish killing it quickly.

"No mercy." Jackel said teasingly as he took twice the number of bites as before. He laid down and curled om his side, he cupped the fish with his paw pulling the fish towards him. The smoke farther away was diming, he tasted the air again and grinned. He noticed that the dogs left as soon as he and rattlesnake landed.

Mercy? I don't know the meaning of the word" Rattlesnake said a semi sarcastic tone laying down. She looked around remembering about the dogs "Looks like your pets ran off" she teased starting to eat her fish.

Jackel shrugged and rolled over on his back, half curled. He shrugged, "Well, they were moving anyways. I don't really care, I got more at the next town over.." he said with a grin, "You need to get your own play toys, it helps get things done faster." He said as he licked his right paw.
