Ghost looked at her daughter and said "Rose im sure that War has better things to do than look after us" Rose looked at her mother and said in a disapointed tone "oh, yes mother" Rose hung her head down and walked out from under War and came to her mother.

Ghost nodded her head and became very torn between doing what was best for her daughter and doing what she had know to do her whole life...to only trust herself and no one else". Ghost contemplated for a long time and Rose watched War walk away longingly Ghost finally made a decision and walked away and called her daughter to her side. Rose looked back but ghost didnt rose said confused "mom i thought we were going with war, arent we going with him" ghost looked at her daughter with a sincere look and said "no honey, ive raised many colts and foals on my own and i did fine so i shall do the same with you and i dont want to be subjected to a herd life" rose nodded her head in understanding and said quietly "ill miss you, War and shadow". Ghost and Rose walked into a nice peaceful forest where there were no scents of cougars or anything, ghost laid down and rose snuggled up to her and fell asleep soundly ghost stayed up a little longer waiting and watching every movement in the forest.
