[The Mean Kitty]

Faith sat down, her tail slightly wagging. She looked around at the other dogs.

Chain fell into a light sleep and began to dream.

Chain walked through the quiet pasture, making sure not to disturb the horses. Today is almost over, he thought. Suddenly, load screams filled Chain's ears, and without hesitation he darted towards home. 'Not my girl. My owner, the one thing on this Earth that cares about me', he whined. When he jumped over the pasture fence, he saw Jayme laying on the dirt with blood gushing from her arm. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the devil. A large coyote, one out of few coyotes that would attack a human. Jayme must have been in between him and his meal. Chain ran towards it, attacking with all he had. Before a death bite, the coyote escaped his grasp and ran. When Chain turned to check on Jayme, he saw her father carrying her to the truck. He sat down and waited hours for their return. Finally, the truck pulled into the drive. Jayme jumped out and ran to hug Chain, because she knew he had saved her. But her father grabbed her and told her not to go near Chain. Jayme went inside, then he put Chain in the truck and drove to town. He threw him out of the vehicle and drove away.

Chain woke up and let out a loud whine. He didn't understand what had happened. And he hoped he wouldn't dream it again...it was almost like reliving it.

[Fauraline]

Lady jumped and ran to chain "what happened? are you hurt?" she said nervously. "dang i sound old" she continued.

James hopped up and ran to chain. "you had a nightmare, huh? Lady...get chain something to calm him down." james ordered

Lady bowed. "Yes James" she said before trotting to get lavender.

Faith perked her ears and saw Chain, she walked over to him. "Are you okay?" she asked worried

Chain's eyes grew wide. "It was... that obvious?" He stood up. "Sorry, I really am fine.." He felt his cheeks get hot from embarrassment.

[Fauraline]

Lady dropped some marigold at chain's feet. "Here, eat this...this will calm whatever is bothering you..." she said smiling.

James nodded to lady "thank you"

Chain nodded gratefully. He leaned down and ate it, then sat quietly.

Dixie laid under a tree and napped she began to dream.

Dixie stood in her yard in scotland with her brothers and mother and father. Her master Irsh is what the people called him. He swooped her up into a box and he drove and drove she was loaded into flying minchane and was carried to states in cramped box. She whinnied as it landed,the pup was taken to a new place far away from every thing she new.

Dixie awoke from her dream. She was panting.

Lady nodded and walked to her alpha rock. She laid there and let the sun warm her fur

James went to lay on the top of the top dog rock. He turned back then trotted forward, jumping on the rock.

Dixie stood up and went for a swim in the pond.
