{Open, Mateless Leader!} Autumn Pride {A Lion Pride}

Zari swam to the edge of the water and got out. Shaking off her wet coat she trotted into the shadows. She suddenly bumped into something. With a growl she swatted at the thing."Who are you? What are you?" She shouted as she felt her paw hit something.
(BTW she ran into shadow.)

Shadow stepped out into the open. "Im Shadow" she said with a smile. She looked down at the young cub. She was impressed by her bravery. "And you are?" she asked getting lower to the ground to look into her face.

Zari hissed but smiled. "I am Zari!" she said as her tail flicked to and fro. she tilted her head and smiled more. "Why are you hiding?" she asked as she sat down. Zari was brave and would attack anything if it startled her, but when it came down to it she was sweet and friendly.

Shadow didnt really want to tell her why so she tried to stall. "I was waiting to see who would find me first." she said taking a step back then sitting down. "It was a compition between you and him." she said pointing at Cherraki with her tail. "You won" she said with a sly smiled tapping Zari's shoulder with her tail.

Zari smiled and tilted her head "oh? ok cool!" she smiled her tail was still swaying. Her tail hit a blade of grass which made it make a sound. Zari jumped up and growled and than attacked her own tail. She was on her side now with her tail between her paws and by her mouth.

Shadow smiled and laughed as Zari attacked her tail. She backed up back into the shadow and looked back over at Chekkari, smiling. She watched Zari for a while, then yawned. She layed down and placed her head on her paws.

Zari tilted her head as the lion went back into the shadows. She bowed her head a little before running to the pond where Chekkari was. Zari ran right past Chekkari and jumped into the water with a giant splash water splashed out of the pond and hit Chekkari. Zari laughed and swam in circles.

Shadow smiled as she watched the small cub. She sighed as she thought of one day having her own. She yawned again and closed her eyes. She felt the shade on her fur and smiled in the coolness. She yawned one last time and fell asleep.

Cherraki laughed at Zari. "Hello, young one. What might your name be?" He asked her, putting a regal tone to his voice, but added another slight chuckle to show he was joking. The older lion continued swimming, now swimming circles around Zari. He dunked under the water, and by the time he came up, his right-parted mane was flopped in front of his face and soaking wet. Playfully he shook his mane and splashed the cub.
